There are singers like Sebastian Bach and Axl Rose, who never had problems with their voice, so they still can sing that high , no matter how old they are. Unlike, for example, Jon Bon Jovi, who had major problems with his voice, starting from the middle of the Slippery When Wet tour in the mid of 1987

I watched Skid Row live in 93 in their prime, years don't pass in vain, it's kind of sad to watch because it makes me realize how old I am too. But Sebastian still rocks in his own way.

I don't understand posts like this, and it seems there are a LOT of them on here. Granted, I haven't seen the naysayers, and maybe they are vitriolic? I have SB on my very short list of absolutely best vocalists in any genre, but I can acknowledge that THIS is not that. It's not even a slam. You touch on the reason; not many of us can do the same physical things we could 30+ years ago. I can't jump up and grab a regulation basketball rim any more, but acknowledging that doesn't take away from the fact that I once could easily. So any comments that these vocals are not great are actually accurate. As long as they are expressed respectfully, they just acknowledge truth and don't change the fact that SB is an absolute legend at all, not one iota.

KZread has killed live performances. People upload so many shit quality videos. And when people watch it, they’re dumb enough to believe that this is how it actually sounds. I saw him on this tour, and he sounded 10 times better than this. It was also toward the beginning of the tour. It was the 4th show on the tour. The longer the tour, the more wear it’s gonna have on his vocals singing these songs every night. He’s not 22 anymore. He’s still a great vocalist and sounds amazing live. He did when I saw him on the self titled tour and slave to the grind tour

Then how come the only awful sounding videos I've heard lately are the Bach ones, but other videos of numerous different bands sound great? Also why do all the new Skid Row videos sound great? If it's bad phone quality, then wouldn't every video of any band uploaded sound like crap like this? Why is it when someone criticises a Bach video, it's automatically 'bad phone quality'? I can go listen to another band and say they sound awesome here and nobody bats an eye, it's only ever the Bach videos? It's not the phone.

The tempo is rushed. It's slightly faster than it should be. That does impact vocals as well. Those extra seconds allow the singer to breathe To make those killer vocals.

Wasted Time is a song for the ages. The studio-version performance on that song, by Baz, is literally through the roof. His most incredible singing on that song 🤘☹️🖤☮️

I saw Skid Row in 1989 with Aerosmith and I guarantee you the new singer would not have been even close to as good as Sebastian. I was literally amazed!

No dude. Your judging this on a KZread video taken with a phone. Go see him live and then report back. I'm not saying his voice is what it was in 1989 but it's still amazing. You also have to remember that he has played this song many thousands of times and it gets old to sing it just like he did in 1988 or 89. Plus hes obviously much bigger and put on a lot of weight. That can change your vocal chords too. But I would agree that he has lost some of his magic. Not all just some.

There are other bands now that the singer sounds bad also, but we're talking Bach here and phone quality. Face it, Bach's voice is shot, it's Bach and not the phone.

Shitty back up band and really bad back up vocals ...he better het a better band with 2 guitarists Skid Row and their new singer are sounding fucking amazing..

Awful! A song with one tone down and he's incapable to sing it...and the best vibrato moments are with a loooooooooot of reverb & delay.
