Omg THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Im obese and bowl legged and in a wheelchair but i can still move my legs i just need help to walk with a walker if i need to get through a place without my chair and this really got me sweating and helped my toes warm up (i have poor circulation) and im blessed this video was made🙏🙌❤️ THANK YOU SO MUCH !! I hope this helps me to improve my mobility so i can walk in my walker more and lose weight to improve my health!

Im in a wheelchair too after an accident. Not long i hope. It has been 5 weeks now and i hope i can start with trying to walk in 2 weeks hopefully. I can move my legs but i cant put weight on them for more that 1 or 2 minutes. I gained weight since then and im not happy. I hope this can help me
I've been looking for cardio that doesn't make my knee problems worse that I can do from home and I can't believe that this actually seems to work. It definitely got my heart going! Thank you so much for posting :)

This is the exact type of cardio I've been looking for! It brings my heart rate up and a little sweat to my brow but I can continue all the way through to the end, amazing! I've been doing this twice a day for a few weeks and it's become fun for me because I know I'm doing good for my body. Thanks so much to Spark People for providing this!

Thank you so much. Just ruptured my ACL (so can't stand on, or twist my knee in any way) and was really struggling to find a decent workout . This is brilliant and I'll be aiming to do every day. Given me some hope back that I don't need to fall back into being unfit. Thanks so much 🙏🏻

i had a back injury in 2011 and again in 2016, although i had a small amount of issues with a couple of the exercises i just did what i could, i am looking forward to improvement with each day of exercise thank you so much for doing this video
Hi. Thanks for this video. Was able to do this from my wheelchair. It was a surprisingly good workout. Having to sit all the time you don't get to engage very many muscle groups.

This is great and should have a lot more views. It's something you can do at work in your office or on a break. It's also great for people that have a hard time doing traditional exercise or walking. It's low impact, but very effective and you feel it. I have plantar fasciitis b/c I have flat feet and when it acts up, it's pure pain and I can't even go for a walk...THIS I CAN DO! thank you!

I haven't been working out and found this video this morning boy it's easy it does work and feels good after done. I also signed up on Spark People.com before I saw the video great program. I am going to try and stick to this program.

This is a beautiful workout. I've started swimming five days a week since I over did my weight training and cardio and my knees got messed up a bit. i can't go to the pool for the next three weeks due to work and I did not want to use my stationary bike. I just finished your exercises and it was cool. However tomorrow i'm gonna do each move for five minutes and I will have hand weights so i'm gonna get a brilliant work out and of course end with my push ups and my plank. ( I always over do it). Thanks.

There were days when we hiked the high country with packs and kids for a weekend outing. Today we do well just getting out of bed. Sense my partner in life has become crippled I started looking for ways to get the bones and joints moving that are low impact. This video is one worth viewing and one I applied to my blog. Great video! I gained a bunch of weight on depression meds that I need to lose. I have lower and upper back problems as well as a knee injury so this video was just what I needed. After watching for a few minutes I figured I might as well do it, so I did! :D

I am an avid line dancer and have danced for years. I did no other exercises. Three years ago I went on a hayride and it was a total embarrassment when I needed so much help to get me on and off the wagon. Afterwards, I went to youtube and found several good exercises which helped immensely, but they all required standing. The following year I was able to get on and off with no assistance. Lately, I have developed calluses on the balls of my feet and have included chair exercises in my routines. With each sitting video, I've found things I couldn't do from a sitting position. In this one I learned I cannot, from a sitting position, lift both legs from the floor. I have also learned I cannot sit up completely straight and perform these exercise. I never realized how much I depend on the back of a chair. From another video I learned I could not sit in the chair, using my arms only, left my body off the chair and hold for 10 seconds. I have been working with this for a month or so. I can lift my bod but can hold for the ten seconds. This could have something to do with my age. But don't frown at chair exercises.

This is a good workout for the legs. My left leg is a little weak because of an injury and I wanted to find lower body exercises to strength it back up. Do you have any more that you could recommend?

No i did this at home..forgot my dumbbells on the floor and ran straight into them snapping my toe backward and it's broken in the joint right where the toe attaches to my foot AND along the toe as well.. Been overamonth and still swells and more pain :-( I'M in a boot.. Where did you find seated yoga?
Finally did this today! Absolutely right jennerh341, these moves are harder in a chair, didn't realize how much it would affect my thighs! Obviously, they need more work!!

I started these today and rather than overdo it, I broke it down into two parts. Listened to my body and listed to "experience" of not being able to move for two days after doing too much. Tks.
I had knee surgery and can’t walk for 6 weeks. I’m also not allowed to run for 9 months, so this is great!
I have MS and my legs just won't let me do sports I used to (wasnt able to walk for a couple months). Since I've got the disease I've gained 50 pounds! (Gah! DX) Due to not being able to exercise and the treatment I was getting, (medical setroids.. plus MS drugs. :/ ) But, this video has actually made me take a chair to my room! XD! Thank you very much for posting this! It has helped me a lot!! Much love!

I'm painfully arthritic, so I mall-exercise with a wheelchair. When I started almost a year ago, I had to stop every quarter-length of the distance to rest. Now I can make it to each end of the (L shaped) mall to rest a moment, gulp water, and take deep, cleansing breaths. :) Doctors always say 'in through your nose, out through your mouth'. So that's what I do while moving. I'm able to pace myself with the fast-walkers that also exercise there. :)

Does anyone know a cardio workout video for people post knee surgery? My whole leg is locked in straigt position so I can’t do these.. otherwise great video!

Great routine. I've been out over 3 weeks with a broken leg from a hockey game and a guy can only do so many pushups haha.
how many calories does this workout burn?
Broke my toe a couple weeks ago. Been relying mostly on strength training to stay active but felt like I could use some cardio. DIdn't really get my heart rate up but I'm used to HIIT training so eh. Will probably do again until I can do my usual exercise. Come on toe, heal!

this was nice but i would like if it was a bit more intense. i did it cause i hurt my leg today but didnt want to hurt myself further by jumping around on it and didnt want to skip my workout. can you do like an insanity version of a chair workout.
Is there an e-book of these workouts available?
I cannot do all these leg movements. I am looking for something that will help me lose weight and get more fit, but, I have physical limitations. I tried doing this but it was just too painful. I can use my arms and torso. Any suggestions? Also would like some music along with instruction, I find I am much more fluid if there is some rhythm to follow.

Wow. I can't move my legs that much but I moved my thighs/knees as much as I could and that kicked my butt. Definitely doing this again. Got to get a fitbit to see how much I burned. Any suggestions for fitbit in wheelchair?

is there a dvd available for purchase? I'm not a senior, just disabled and want fun chair exercises, not a dvd made for senior citizens. It would be nice if this video had some really upbeat music with it.
It depends on your weight and diet, but if you are a heavy person and do this a few times a week you'll probably lose a little bit and more if you eat a healthy diet. I'm not a professional though.
