    Just a small heads up! After replacing the oem clutch with an aftermarket clutch on the z your peddle might feel squishy like you don’t get direct feel of the clutch and this can be fixed by buying a 1 piece steal braided clutch line! Hope you see this an helps you out lol

    for the dumb people like me can you explain what a chassis mount shifter is and why it's better than a regular shifter.

  • @ddevil4980

    @ddevil4980

    6 жыл бұрын

    TheDestroyer32 its literally explains it in the name. A shifter is normally mounted to the transmission. A chassis mount shifter mounts to the chassis. Which makes it more stable.

  • @jamesderrick691

    But wouldn't that like randomly pop out of gear and stuff like that? Since it flexes with the body instead of the trans

  • @Xpuskax_x

    @Xpuskax_x

    6 жыл бұрын

    TheDestroyer32 If you change the trans and engine mounts to poly mounts, the entire driveline will move less thus maling it possible to have a body mount. Trans mount flops around when toi do clutch kicks

  • @Adriansitos623

    @Adriansitos623

    6 жыл бұрын

    TheDestroyer32 The factory shifter uses two rods to get the shifter to work. One rod is stationary and one moves. It makes for sloppy shifting. The chassis mounted shifter replaces the stationary rod with a pillow ball mount where shifter goes in the plate and only has one rod to shift the tranny. It makes it a lot more accurate to shift and takes most, if not all, of the slop out of the shifter.
