Ayup fella, was hoping for instructions how to remove the rear interior panels, as I want to replace the rear speakers in my own 3dr Grande Punto. Any help (via a video of your own, or one you know of) on this matter would be much appreciated. Thank you 👍 😎🇬🇧

Hi mate. Most interior panels are removed with pop clips and screws. Don't know of any videos off the top of my head but hope that helps a bit. 🤙🏻

@@Drivewaybuildz Cheers for getting back to me on this, yeah, I understand being a 3 door there's mucho work to do like removing both parts to rear seats, then some screws and bolts for the side panels to come free. I have the Haines manual for the car but, as you know videos explain better. Basically what I'm doing is removing rear speakers, then soldering extension wires up to the interior rear wheel arch carpet covers (using gaffa tape along the wire to stop rattles and buzzes etc), where I will mount a 'Barrel' socket each side (on said wheel arch carpet area) with which leads from 6x9s mounted on the rear parcel shelf can be plugged into. Quick and easy to connect/disconnect when parcel shelf is removed/replaced... Pics can be supplied (when job is completed) which will give better idea.. 😎🇬🇧

What size are the torx?

Hey man, I have a Linea tjet and I had removed front seats. I can see two plugs under the passenger seat.. only one has connection and the driver seat has only one tho. I understand Indian variant of punto and linea can be quite different but I cannot make out what the second plug on passenger side is for ? (We don’t get heated seats here in India) .. I cannot see any wires to plug it in? Maybe its a dummy (it is wired plug) or maybe the service guys just clipped it off (they are terrible).

Hi Mate. In the UK there are 2 plugs. Bigger plug is airbag connection. Smaller one is seatbelt sensor. Hope that helps. 👍

@@Drivewaybuildz thank you so much mate.. my car was attacked by rats while I was away during lockdown. The instrument cluster was glowing like Christmas lamps. I disassembled the entire car took my time and fixed all the issues .. now out of nowhere the amber warning light lit up..could it be because I have disconnected the stereo? Rest everything as in electrical wiring and mechanical stuff seems sound. My LCD display is damaged so I cannot see any error codes.

Hi mate. yes the abarth seats do fit in the fiat punto. just make sure if you buy the abarth seats that they come with the runners. 👍

Over all yes i would say they are. Multiair unit is probably worst issue that is common. Although this is an Abarth punto grande not an evo. My other punto (the black one) is an evo. 👍

Both are reliable but both have 1 issue, evo the multiair which can be prevented for a slight cost, the grande has an real big issue with the m32 gearbox, i had to pay 1600 euro for a gearbox revision at 98.000km already
