Hi could you let me know how you took the wing mirror off the car from outside ? I am struggling. Thanks. Did you just unscrew the bolt hidden behind the rubber ?

the spring must be pressed into a vice and a thin wire in a couple of turns, you tie it, then you release the spring from the vice, in this form you can freely mount it back!
