Thanks for sharing your experience. Please reply with your opinion. I have neglected my hydraulic steering system. When we slid the boat off the trailer the helm turned starboard, the motor also turned correctly but when my wife turned port there was no resistance and the motor did not move. I have turned port 1000+ times attempting to get it to take fluid with zero success . No leaks anywhere at all. Is that my spool valve frozen? Wouldn't a frozen spool valve offer resistance. Is this a hosed pump?
