Aren’t those just the normal sloop cannons in the season 11 photo? It looks like it is from the perspective of the quest table with both the window and mast removed. RIP sloop being able to sail in season 11.

Sorry to break in to Everyone that would be hype for the "chase canon" but that not happening Mike Chapman did confirm on twitter that they just change the layout of the ship so you can see the New canon cosmetic the ship Will stay the same at least for now he also Say "never Say never" so idk maybe in a future update

I think that the whole voyage situation is very delicate, because it is such a *important* part of the game and yet because so little has been done to them over the years it feels really outdated, so im glad that they are doing something about it, but im also a little scared that it might not be that great. Personally I'd like to see 'introductory' voyages for each faction to stay lol But those aren't temporary so idk if they'll be affected S11 NintoHA

Im keen to see the changes from voyages, as they are a way to make you explore the all the islands not just sail around them .

The thing is not a lot of people are playing voyages (including myself) because of the massive restrictions they put on it. Just take the restrictions away. It will not "divide the playerbase" because the people that don't want to PvP aren't playing the game in the first place.

honestly i think itll be fun, what im hoping is that they do give a way to get profitable long sessions, whether its profit in gold, or in just a fun game, but being able to do a quick 20-30 minute adventure and be done, but also be able to have those 8+ hour sessions but with more action, and more things to do

In terms of the voyage removal, itll be a mixed bag. What about skull of destiny? The map board? I do personally think theres a main reason for why theyre removing quests. Saving up space for the servers. But if itll he polished, only time will tell. RustyPyrate

I am a little bit confused, is it the adventures getting removed, not the voyages? But even so, instead of removing them entirely, why not relegate them after their peak to the Safer Seas, freeing up the main live server? So the adventure/quest is not entirely lost.

Does it include guilded voyages?

TheAdmiral2914 I really appreciate the conciseness of the video, there wasn’t any unnecessary fluff and I like that. As for voyages, I think the more options the better. I’ve been loving the fortresses because they are easy to do as a solo slooper and only take fifteen minutes minutes to do if you are efficient. Another thing I would like to see is buried loot persisting across servers, where the maps to the loot last just a few minutes after the players log off. That way if a server is lively, you can bury the expensive loot, fight to sell the cheaper stuff, and sell the expensive stuff at a later session.

They give me and my friends a sense of direction and there is just a vibe that I feel from completing voyages back then that I just cannot explain. I haven't done voyages except helping other crews in over a year but I am going to miss them

Personally i think the removal of the limited time voyages could go either way, for instance in my crew the main reason many of us stopped playing was due to the time needed for a productive session and how much undivided attention is needed for sot in general, many of us have other responsibilities such as kids, or pets, or even just work and family stuff in general which of course takes priorty to games, and being able to hop on for a shorter time n being able to get loot, and then get off the game, is a nice addition, with that being said, a few of our crew are hardcore sot players, and would prefer to keep those longer voyages, mainly to be have the chance to take the loot from other crews, and like with most games that eventually cater to more casual, or newer players, the more seasoned members of the fanbase will naturally have an issue simply because the game is changing. I am excited tocsee what happens to sot in the future though. Notjoetaco

Honestly the removal of voyages of any kind (since they are the BEST way to lvl up with any particular Faction) just seems like one more step towards "We don't ever want anyone to enjoy this game solo, EVER". I mean, look at how every world event makes you visible to the entire map or flat out puts a big beacon on top of your head literally. It's becoming more and more evident that they are trying to exclude and punish solo gamers and pve players. And it's really starting to border on "obvioisly intentional".

I would be disappointed to see voyages just disappear because I’m only ever solo sloop’n and I’ve always hoped I’d have a crew mate to voyage with. Having said that it ain’t happened yet and as such I haven’t done a voyage in quite a long time. As a solo slooper I just never feel like I have that kind of time to commit to a session while also painting the target on my back. So anything that would make my island hopping and Lo-Hi merchant runs (AND HUNTERS CALL WORK!) more lucrative would probably be a better thing overall. Fingers crossed for a happy medium. I guess.

It’s all dependent on how we obtain or do said voyages in season 11 that will influence my opinion on it, if you can slap down a voyage on the captain’s table without having to purchase from the specific vendors that would be interesting, I never liked the limit on voyages you can hold on too 👌😂 I have a hopeful outlook on the future of sea of thieves 😅 Caynai

I've been holding on to a free destiny skull voyage, and most importantly 2 Gildeds from last year. Never got to doing them and it seems to me like an idiot move to just wipe them from my inventory. Brings me even less reason to come back to this sinkhole of a game. Feels to me that Rare is only focusing new players and making sot irrelevant for those of us who have already played lots.

I'm glad their doing away with Voyages and introducing shorter, faster alternatives. Now I don't have to exclusively play on the weekends anymore.

I think there should be room for both. Most of the time i play is for an hour or two.

Honestly, voyages were just a niche that was cool at first. And I’m speaking from a relatively newer experience as someone with only 300 hours. When I first started doing them they were cool, like hunting down ghost ships or digging up buried treasure. They quickly became monotony and were forgotten in lieu of chasing world events like FOF and FOTD.

Interested to see whats coming in season 11, it all looked like well get new type of loot like the ashen ones but with a siren kingdom like design. Could be a new area? Well see i guess. Moriaty311

I hope they keep voyages and Id be sad to have to go down to the legends hideout again to buy voyages. It was so much more convenient to just buy them from the shipwright.

Hey Synn, if I'm honest the idea of removing the limited time voyages is probably a good idea A lot of them definitely need a rework and a fresh coat of paint which is a good start

I'ma try out for these serpent sails, also I have I big question, how do I get into the mindset of getting the ghost curse and skeleton curse. I am level 58 Athena and level 56 reaper. I just can't get my head to grinding for these curses. BASEBALL4414
