It's all about individual preferences and not colonisation cuz everyone is free to listen to whatever song they wish to.. Truth is African songs are very topping world wide especially with Nigerian musicians

Love all the beautiful performances from Team Awilo! I also enjoy and respect the African Music giant Awilo Longomba - Carolina, Oshe baba! However I am not sure about his decisions. In these battles, Rey beat Tusiimire hands down, it was not even close. Secondly, Dapo was better than Kitary. Finally Ronni sang better than Solene.

Unlike the European judges, ours looked unnecessarily under tension apart from the Awilo & Yemi moment. They did not help us enjoy the battles. But this should be fun.

Unexpectedly Awilo turns out to be the best coach so far. His pairing and song choice is on point.

Dapo is 70 the other guy is 30 percent

Awilo made it a point of duty to choose all the worst performers for each of the battles. I don’t know if his lack of understanding of English affects his ability to hear properly.

C’est une compétition.Le coach choisi la meilleure voix.Tu peux être bon chanteur avec une belle voix,mais rater une bonne balance le jour de la compétition…Souvent,c’est dur de choisir aussi pour le coach parce qu’il connaît la valeur de chacun… En conclusion,il y a beaucoup de talents en Afrique.Ma joie est de voir l’Afrique se réveiller et rattraper les autres…BRAVO!!! An amazing show.I was totally impressed ❤

I believe all the men who were eliminated were good singers for the night. I don't get it. Plus so boring. The last and second last performance was awesome

The judges coaches need to speak up! They are too quiet! I agree that it seems as if only girls were chosen and some of the male vocalists were realy good!

Seriously not impressed at all. With all the talents we have, the level of performances should be better. Poor song choices. Even the judges look bored and don't look like they are emotionally connecting with the songs. This is a big show and still no translation when some of the judges make comments after the performances. On a vraiment besoin de faire mieux, augmenter le niveau et mettre la barre plus haut.😮

I'm American but i was disappointed extremely so..i expected to hear the beautiful voices of Africa.. so many languages and so much history for me since my great grandparent's and forefathers are from the land.. I'm totally disappointed and upset at how stiff the judges are and looking at the singers like servant's.. the worst voice ever
