Sears Craftsman 50165 Leaking 2.5 Ton Low Profile Floor Jack ~ Hydraulic Power Unit Seal Kit Rebuild

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video we go over how to completely disassemble and rebuild the hydraulic power unit for the Sears Craftsman 950165 (aka model 50165 or 214.50165) 2.5 Ton Low Profile Service Jack to replace seals that have failed leading to leaking hydraulic fluid. Torin was the OEM for this jack for Sears.
There are several 2 ton and 2.5 ton floor jacks based on the original Torin design that have similar carriage construction to this Craftsman, so the disassembly information will directly apply. And many of these will have very similar hydraulic power unit designs so these aspects of the video may also be applicable. I believe the closest similar non-OEM branded design to the Craftsman 50165 would be the Strongway 46225.
There are two, soon to be discontinued I believe, seal kits for these Craftsman jacks which are based on manufacturing dates:
- Built 2012 and prior used seal kit T825010.MF (Torin part number not Sears)
- Built 2013 and later used seal kit T825010C.MF (Torin part number not Sears)
You will have to call Torin to order these by part number only at 1-888-44-TORIN (remember they will *NOT* provide service parts for a jack not branded by Torin)

Sierra's once a big mall now. Just for forgotten Reddit. That went bankrupt because we spent too much money.
