Beautiful sunset brother and trust me in the 35 years that I've done this I wanted to sell my truck and trailer every other week just to get out of the hopper bottom business it didn't happen until I got sick happy New year

Probably not because the washout is tied to them. I wish I wasn’t so frustrated I’d just asked her if she’d throw a little water in there and let me go!

I'm not a owner operator, but its probably really hard to have (pricing discipline) when you own 1 truck . Turning down cheap loads etc, in a perfect world it would be nice if a majority of everybody would not haul cheap freight. I know in the LTL buisness there is only 10 big companys and most of have tremendous pricing disapline . Cheers from northern Indiana usa

Man that’s just the way it rolls!

I converted my split fuel tank from hydraulic fluid to water pressurize with air, I only put water in it when I need it oh and I made my own washout slips.

Never at weiner. Loaded a Jonesboro a few times but there is so much closer to me I’ve never had to

Sometimes its better to just park the ol bitch and take some family time. If you dont have good work lined out for a hopper you'll fuck yourself. Luckily we got work lined out every day of every week or shit would really suck. Best of luck. Hopper life aint for everyone my friend

I’m not sure really. One part of me wants to believe that it won’t take long for them to get a taste and quit. I also think that when reefer picks up again they will lose interest in it

@@thedirtytrucker9633 oh I see. I didnt know you had it that long. To be fair, it still looks great today. Pre emission long hood is a big cool factor these days regardless of how they look.

And to add to it. That scale wasn't tight my man. We do stuff like that all the time in Nebraska with triples and big trucks. Jus sayin. Your trucks little and your trailers short. It aint tight.

Man these scales down here are old and short. There are a lot of places I’ve been too with my green truck where I am doing good to fit. There is one place that has two dumps and I can only use one even with my 359 at 260wb. I never have problems hitting up In the Midwest

Maybe you should consider working at McDonalds ?
