Sean Young Collection on Letterman, 1987-2011

1. August 26, 1987. Promotes "No Way Out." Film clip edited out due to copyright caution.
2. December 15, 1988. "The Boost."
3. September 6, 1989. The tap dance.
4. May 16, 1990. "Firebird" and a cab ride.
5. May 2, 1991. "Kiss Before Dying" and the neck.
6. October 14, 1993. "Fatal Instinct.
7. October 4, 2011.
Note: There's a glitch at 21:21. While digitizing the tape, I noticed the short video glitch as Dave mentions Deborah Norville as one of the next night's guests. While still digitizing, I rewound the tape right before the beginning of the Act and adjusted the tracking at that moment.
I should have caught it while editing this collection. I didn't. Rather than fix it, recut, and reupload, which will require hours of processing time, I'll just leave it as is. No content was lost, just repeated.
Sorry for the screw-up.

Just a personal anecdote for folks to enjoy: back in 2000, I was living in Sedona, AZ and working at a local bakery/coffeeshop. Sean Young would come in regularly, sometimes with her husband and in-laws, sometimes it was just her and her eldest son. She was always very quiet but very kind. She treated those of us behind the counter with respect and was an incredibly generous tipper. One time, I waited on her ~ making a hot chocolate for her son, some kind of drink that I don't remember, for her ~ and she was concerned about the hot chocolate being too hot and her son's mouth being potentially burned. She was firm and direct about this but not at all unpleasant... When I gave the mug to her, so she could check the temperature, she seemed surprised, but expressed gratitude. She then asked me, out of the blue, where I was from. That caught me off guard. I stammered and stuttered ('cause I was actually quite starstruck despite my trying to be calm and professional) in response: "I'm from Vermont." She smiled and nodded and said: "People from there are generally thoughtful, aren't they?"... I laughed and said: "Generally that IS true!" She thanked me for making sure the drink was safe for her son and turned her attention to him. That was the end of any personal communication between us during her visit to the cafe, that time. I share this because my experience of Sean Young is that she was always very kind, had a sort of dignity about her, and she never looked down on anyone, even if they were serving her. I think people deserve to know that and I think she deserves to have people tesitfy as to her real character.

@@Charleybones Or maybe she was pretty much blacklisted by Harvey Weinstein and co. when she declined his advances and said that he sexually harassed her. This was way before the whole Me Too movement when that sort of behavior was all too common in Hollywood (and still is). Funny how the minute a woman stands up for herself or accuses a powerful person in Hollywood of sexual harassment, she’s immediately deemed “crazy”, difficult, lying or all of the above. Just because she marched to a different drum doesn’t automatically classify her as a lunatic.

Kind of feel bad for her at about 27:45 tap dancing because the music completely drowns her out and you can't really hear her doing her art . . Sean Young is captivating . Bill Maher from the show ' politically incorrect ' said of her when she appeared as as guest on his show that " ... she comes as advertised ... ". Well , I could watch her all day . I found that those clicks and pop sounds made by her tap dancing to be very pleasant and soothing . But I must say that my favorite in this collage of Letterman shows with Sean as guest is the one where she flashes us with her lovely toothpick arms , and I thought that Sean's armpit hairs were quite alluring , along with flashes of her lovely rib cage as she sat talking to Dave .
