It’s not your fault after 32 years she wants to throw the relationship away and marriage that’s on her just like it’s on my ex she cheated right after I got a new job to match schedules with her that’s on her one thing I learned is sadly 99% of women you can’t trust like my best friend and we were both against finding the next one or the one but next thing I know she bails on me and find somebody to start dating and live with and cook for her the same reason she came over to my house to get away from her parents even though both my parents were dead I told her like parents are important to have in your life when they’re here when they’re gone you’re going to regret it and miss them but used me for a cook a place to stay yet never saw the Effort I put into her how much I wanted to see her grow and become a better person and said she just use me and started dating a coworker which you know when they break up is going to be messy with HR and who is she going to come and cry to me and he’s not gonna answer the phone me

Wow. Speechless and took my breath away and felt my soul leave my body. I'm serious. I finally took back my life and kicked him out my life. Sadly addiction will take away the ppl we love and turn them into a stranger, that you dont know anymore. I finally got an OOP. It's a bitter sweet thing but finally have hope, peace, and my strength back again. Finally ready to take back my life and all my power I had given away. I will not be giving my heart to someone that doesnt care about breaking it. That's not love, it was one hell of a addiction. I refuse to be another statistic and I refuse to give someone all my love and support just to have their ego boosted and taking advantage of me every chance they see, with such little to no respect given to me. the constant manipulation, games, gaslighting, smear campaigning, and the one to ensure I fail, kicking me down when I'm already there and then weaponizing my insecurities against me especially when I'm in a vulnerable state. I have too much to offer than to waste it on someone who doesnt appriaicte all of me. Walk away when its the same damn pattern and the same mistakes over and over again. How many times can someone apologize for the same things? Their not sorry and everyone you forgive them, they just lose more respect and it just gets worse, the love bombing becomes less and less. They love to build you up just to break you down. They love how much power we give them. I rather be heartbroken knowing I'm on my journey towards healing than be hurt in daily with no end site to be seen. feeling defeated and worthless but In the end they are the one losing something good and we are the ones gaining something good. Point being, their loss not ours.

My hearts been broken so many times the pieces are so small and fragile that putting them back together again will take some extra time that I never took before. After a total of 47 years of three failed abusive marriages. I’m still not giving up on the sanctity of marriage. I don’t want to die alone or lay in a single grave. I still have hope of God providing me with someone that can love me. At least as much as I love myself. I have learned what unconditional love is, because that’s what I had to give myself. It’s going to be a hard life ahead of me at 65 people my age are retiring, and well for me, I’m just now beginning to learn what others call living. To everyone with broken dreams, don’t let those dreams die. As long as there’s breath in your lungs and a beating heart in your chest, never stop. Never let the cruelty of others cause you to be cruel.

He came back on his own not 2 days after posting this. It's already been weeks of tears and processing things but when we said I do it meant you work thru the painful patches as well as celebrating our ups!

Such a great song but sad . This song sounds like me after 22 yrs of marriage...Thought it last for ever. But got past it and happy where I'm. It really hits home Came out to be a strong person and still going. Thanks for sharing

This song so touches every part of me. Because I thought I had something so true but things changed so fast. Its so sad how someone takes a good person and changes there whole life and throws away a person who had nothing but good attentions for them and supported them every step of the way but to them it was so easy to walk away.

Gorgeous song. Your voice is so gruff, handsome, fiery! Thank you for a beautiful song. I hope after these last 5 years spent with a man with a beautiful heart but an alcoholic and just walks out on us over and over that my heart can heal. I know I'm worth it. And I'm so tired of being devestated every relapse, every time he goes missing. I hope that I haven't grown too cold to love deeply and passionately again because of the constant fear I live in or being hurt again.

Thank you for this. 3 weeks ago I walked away from a relationship with a Narc that has almost broken me, my head is barely above the water the things I've been through with him and I did absolutely everything for him that I could. Everything was a lie 😭

Yes, Jesus sing it and sing it again and again! This has been my life for so many years. I could never be better without him in my life. I surrendered to the lord and he saved my life. Fighting through the depression, anxiety and panic attacks have been hell. The lord put me through this to show me a path of how strong I really am. I am stronger now than I've ever been in my whole life. I thank the lord above for pulling me through the hardest heartbreak I've ever been through in my whole entire life. Divorce was the best thing that could of ever happened to me. I am forever grateful to have another chance at life with peace, love and self love. Thank you Jesus

This exactly what I needed to hear. I'm in a relationship where I know it's only breaking me down. I want better, I feel like I'm grasping at straws, I used to think hanging on was the best answer, but it's letting go.. that is a new freedom and happiness. When I found out about this song I was through some hard time because my girlfriend left me because of a soccer player. The same day around 6 pm I got a call from my class's head teacher. But when I picked up it wasn't him, but his wife. She told me that her husband has died from lung cancer. I know that it sounds like an overreaction to go into a 4 month long depression and be on paroxetine for half of that time, but this man was like my second father because my father travels a lot because of his job. While he was abroad for a few weeks my head teacher ( Mr Tsvetkov ) helped me a lot. He helped me with redacting my poetry and my 3 songs' lyrics. Now it's been five months and 21 days since he died. At that day my heart was broken to pieces and I'm still recovering. Because no matter how strong physically a person or how smart he is, two blows like this can turn his world into a place full of sad memories. Also I know that it's probably unnecessary to use the services of a psychologist after two traumatizing cases like those, but It really helped me. Both what the psychologist did for me and what your song did. They both really helped me mainly because the lyrics of your masterpiece completely matched what I was feeling at that moment and I still am. That's why I wan to thank you for everything. I'm sorry If I had any grammar or lexical errors. That's because the English is not my main language. My native language is Bulgarian. That's why my class's head teacher's name is probably giving you a hard time when talking about pronunciation or even when simply reading it. Thx for reading this comment

FACTS........ My ex and I have been off amd on for years when hes lonely he wants me I validate him then he gets bored amd leaves and I always blamed myself but when he finally left for someome else I finally took off my blinders amd I wont be waiting when he comes crawling back
