Sean Strickland's Skinhead Origins

Спорт

Sean Strickland exposes his history as a skinhead to Theo Von on the "This Past Weekend" podcast (#476). Strickland experienced a poor education due to various family related issues. He was suspended for multiple "hate crime" incidents and therefore spent time outside of the school system. Strickland admits he was never truly racist, and simply angry with his circumstances.

There is a black man who has successfully converted KKK members by just having an open dialogue with them and treating them respectfully. It seems society is happier casting bigots out than talking to them. Obviously racism isn’t ok, but racists won’t learn tolerance if they are just labeled as inconsolably evil.

That someone would injure someone new to training like that is actually a dick move and you should consider finding a new gym because they're going to teach you bad habits. If someone treated you like that at our gym they'd get their ass beat by the coach in front of the whole class. Bullies need to get checked or your gym will be full of them. Those are the types of gyms that get you injured before you really learn anything, or worse, if you're training to be pro you risk a career ending injury from what was supposed to be "light sparring".
