Sandhagen beat Chito and then went on to win another fight, so he obviously deserves it more. Merab is on a 9-fight win streak so he obviously deserves it more. I'm fine with the champion giving a guy with personal beef a title shot, but not when there are legitimate contendors waiting.

Sean struggles against strikers who wrestle because they mix it in as soon as he thinks it's a kick boxing fight. Sean ate a couple flush shots from aljo but they had no power, you need a striking threat to find takedown openings on omalley.

Merab has never ended anybody, all he does is shoot for takesowns & throws these baby punches. Dude has ZERO power, ZERO ground game. He's definitely juiced up before every fight, explain how he has that much energy...?? Oh and he already refused to fight the champ,he had his chance... Merab will NEVER get a title shot.
