Bro I really wished they would fix the useless spells for paladins because there are too many runes just dead and the other problem is that stuff like taunt or Exorcism on all targets should be skillbooks rather than a rune that blocks out other support abilities because paladin already started with less combat abilities than any other classes. Even priests got the Shadowfiend as a bonus skillbook

It feels bad because SoC used to proc an extra martyr. In SoD it doesn’t. 3 hits when we’re used to 4. In tbc you could get 6 hits in the same auto with windfury.

I think it would have been better if Exorcism Crits of some other crit "cause your next Seal Cast to NOT proc a GCD within the next 4s"... like give us the seal twist sure... but also free up the GCD to do so.

lol yea the twist is like there but not really all there 😆It's a baby version in comparison to TBC days. I think it was proc'n for Command/Martyr but they silently nerfed it overall so now we ain't getting 4 hits, but more like 3 if it hits. I do think in pvp this may be worth more it's value but Exo/SOM is still the play in PVE for best dmg & tbh still better in PVP for now.

It definitely works and Martyrdom does indeed proc from the Seal of Command, but at the cost of staring at a swing timer the entire fight.

I've been doing martyr with righteousness instead of SoC because it's consistent, and I', only twisting between other spells. Like crusader, judge, and exo are on cd so I throw in a twist

@@usedcolouringbook8798 actually you could twist all damage seals with justice and even stun people from judgment from SoM and SoC (sause SoR count as spell, not melee attack) if you have damage seal on you, then judge and immediately cast seal of justice to have a dicent chance to stun.

Issue with SoR over SoC is you need to use the max rank for maximum damage. So it’s extremely mana inefficient

What savi dont ralize is that in tbc martyr would proc from soc procs and here it wont, just from weapon swing so its kinda useless in pve

Was bugged, SoC is now proccing SoM. But he's also using a lvl 40 weapon so he just doesn't hit that hard. But twisting is probably dead regardless, globals are pretty busy, and even then SoR is probably better to twist with for consistency.

There aren’t a lot of numbers because SoC doesn’t provoke a second hit from SoM, as it did on TBC, and in PVE the speed of the weapon is 1.5-2, it definitely won’t work there))

I just want to use divine storm, they need to buff it so bad.

Currently, Martyr doesn't get the benefit from command proc like it did in tbc.. However, it's a 2 way twist instead of needing to be command first

Im beggining to think they should have just given us wotlk talent trees with the discoveries being extra talent point questlines.

SoM and SoC just want opposing wep speeds twisting those two won’t be decent dps gain unless they unnormalize SoM. And for all the twisting nay sayers regardless of twisting being the “meta” dps. You should still twist not as a major part of your normal dps rotation but just in general it is a staple mechanic of paladins and you should be taking advantage of it. This change has not “added” twisting is just makes those two seal twistable. And tbh SoR is prob more worth to twist into. Specially with how fast our weps are. Lastly any paladin worth their salt already has a swing timer anyways

Why does SoM prefer faster weapons? It’s a flat amount of damage based on your weapon. So two weapons with the same dps should produce the same amount of damage. But even then, slow weapons win out since their judges hit harder.

@@omarlozano9374 SoM is normalized so no matter the speed of your weapon it will use 3.3 wep speed (2h) to calculate the damage. The judgement is not normalized so Judgement of martyr is better the slower your weapon.

Can we get whoever is pala main dev in sod moved ro something else at blizz? I mean, there is clearly 0 interest to actually do something cool for us. I have never twisted and never will. Its a stupid min max mechanic, which sod is absolutely not about. It amazes me how much bullshit we need to get. We lack so far behind other classes its not even fun anymore. All we got this time was SoR can crit, seal NOONE uses. The refresh on seal with CS is something we should have had since phase 1 tbh.

There's a lot more reasons why twisting was viable, the lack of expertise to reduce chance to dodge from enemies means twisting out the gate is already worse than TBC.

In all honesty, I really loved classic pvp but in SoD I fucking hate paladins, I swear to God every alliance lobby is 5-6 ret paladins thinking that they are playing some OP class and ruining everyone else's experience and just griefing the entire lobby. It is so annoying, I love Savix, but I absolutely hate him and Esfand and McConel for hyping ret paladin class, they are just losing to every class in PvP, these new ret players dont bop their healers, dont loh their main dps, they dont cleanse shit... I've never hated people for playing a class in WoW but ret paladins made me reroll to horde just so that I can go and kill all of them either in bgs or open world pvp.

I mean guys...he's trying to hit players with full rank 7 gear with a level 40 weapon. I been hitting pvp with the level 50 stv weapon and i have been cloking folks like crazy.

Your PvP gearing and Rune Selection SUCKS... Especially with the new Twist options. Try the following instead... 1. Use Str/Agi/Stam 3/6 and Str/Stam/Int/Spell Power 3/6 for +15 Stam x2. Gear more stam Heavy in General, You should be nearly 4500hp unbuffed in IF. 2. You can go Art of War OR Crusader Strike but NOT BOTH. One of those needs to be a durability increase rune... Hand of Reck or Sacred Shield or BOTH with new twist option. 3. Use Divine Storm, Command Twisting with SoR. Slow 2 Hander. Hand of Reck + Sacred Shield for increased Durability, And freer GCD usage. This last bit becomes even MORE important when you factor in your need to use cleanse quite a bit. Art of War and CS are Opportunity costed against other rune options AND other GCD options such as Twisting and Cleansing.

PvP aura has everyone's damage reduced by 40%. You should test this in PvE where its intended.

It's not seal twisting its Eggrands shit version of it. Its missing another attack.

Twisting is such an outdated mechanic. Just classic andys asked for that. With new runes it has no place in sod. We need massive better mana sustain, buff crusader strike and divine storm + lover cd. Additionally make soc 125% dmg procc, not low ass 70. Maybe even a slow too. It is time 20 years of shit paladins are over and they get the sod enhance treatment. Make them desirable! Currently all i hear in bg "uff 3 rets, 3 wasted slots!!!"

worst "buff" ever. Doesent work correctly. Doesent fit into the hectical meta. Fast attack speeds make it not playable with global cooldowns. Ive done hours of testing today, and its bad. They should just buff command and give you multiple options to play the damn thing. Also a gapcloser for pvp would be much more important then this shit.

This is literally wotlk without resilience gear. Its already boring af or is it just me? Sod is just a 1 shot burst pvp meta and a typical classic wow melee dps fest in pve. It's just another classic andy time waster. Retail looking real good right now
