!0000% agree. I think the simplicity of the game and simplicity of the classes made it a lot of better. except for hunter and boomies it also felt a lot more balanced in PvP at that time

@@Kenji-117 Same, I think its especially cuz it was our first time running around discovering etc. P2 P3 has its special touch but just felt repetitive and simpler modes of the rune. Also we didnt get any new pvp for P3, P1 we had ashenvale, P2 STV, P3 nothing for pvp

i think p3 is the best, p2 was the worst. theres so much to do, dungeon loot is relevant again. nearly the whole game is accessible to us

I think they realized people want lvl 60 content so I’m hoping they focused their energy on the cool stuff in blackrock mountain since it feels like they are just trying to get us level up asap

P1 was good but so few spells to use not much to do P2 thing got better P3 best so far lots of stuff to do and plenty spells and runes

Savix is such a force of positivity. He can get even the quietest raids to talk and chuckle.

I don't play SoD, I just enjoy Savix content :)

Yea this phase has definitely slowed down for a lot of folks. It's raid logs & your occasional incursions for money grind. The want to level another toon as well is pretty dry atm. Most early level content right now is tough to do with groups or you can't find anyone. The PVP Aura as of this past weekend was a wild experiment and some liked it, some did not. I think they need to add other events next phase and possibly rework incursions for more fun activities for people to do. Also, the loot from Sunken Temple this phase is very underwhelming to say the least. Not a lot of folks are motivated to get gear since it's a minor upgrade for some. I guess my general analysis would say SOD right now is in a weird spot. I think the game is fun with friends, but that can be said about anything. There is several issues happening overall with economy, class balancing, world activity, etc. I am hopeful for the future of the game but expecting the most little at this time. Much luv amigo, lock it in 🔒

My realms ironforge has never looked anywhere close to that dead. Even in the mornings we have 3 layers running and people everywhere lol.

I really love spamming Nightmare Incursions all day, just in and out, rinse and repeat. Such great new content. Helping to stabilize the economy for sure with all that RAW gold being printed. I feel like Blizzard really hit the bullseye here. It's so fun that everyone spams it from lvl 20-50 without doing anything else, not because it's efficient but because it's FUN and GROUP CONTENT which totally does not utterly DESTROY the leveling experience.

Removes players from the rest of the world. Washes out the rest of the content. Definitely the Classic+ experience everyone wanted 👌

i loved the compect of SOD.. but when i played i was alone most of the time.. dint find a guild or people to help with some runes.. and killed my mood to play it sadly

I quit start of p3 I just couldn’t be bothered anymore. Dreams sucked plus missed out on the easy gold which I notoriously struggle with 😭all the meta parsing stuff. I’m playing turtle wow atm. I’ll be coming back for p4 though

I really tried, but I didn't get any higher than 24. It just feels like leveling a twink in wotlk, it just has nothing to do with classic

I tried SoD , the only thing I like about it is retail abilities so I tell people I've been having fun this whole time on retail with those abilities

My favorite thing about SoD is honestly minuscule in the grand scheme of things. I fucking love what they did with prayer of mending. Being able to bounce it with r1 renew is bananas and i love it. If i had to be more broad, its that things that never really felt as impactful before (circle of healing, slam being instant, etc) feels absolutely massive as an addition to classic

the 1 week lockouts make it much more casual and i love it. Im just making alts trying not to take it serious until 60 end content. next phase i think will be BIG

I like Vanilla and sod adds a nice twist to it, but It just came out at a bad time for me. I came to Wow to try Wrath and it coming out during ICC split my guild up and now I have no home to go to.

I like the concept of SoD, adding twists and changes to an old game. The execution has been a bit of hit and miss as the phases go on but overall I like the experience =) Besides, get to play with the boiz and that's always nice!

Nightmare incursion LOOPS... loved running around in endless circles, leveling in one day and having more gold then i did at 60 in 2019 . NAAA but for real playing a non-healer paladin and druid in classic best part still so far.

i like wrath abilities in classic

I just love classic content and SOD has upgraded it. I do think they have gone overboard with the runes tho, would have liked less powerfull effects and less retails feeling spells.

I love the incursions! Challenging to find a group that doesn't do the no kill loops, but complete quest loops and working with the party to get the mob/boss kills is great.

Let’s face it SoD will be dead untill next phase what’s the point getting Bis untill max level just a waste

It's as simple as raiding feeling gutted this phase. 3 to 7 day just doesnt feel good. 10 to 20 man doesnt feel good. And most importantly the gear is barely an upgrade for most classes from phase 2. My spriest SIMs see a 0.3% dps increase between the phases.

that's so sad yeah. My main is Paladin and we still use Crowd Pummeler as a BIS weapon. Nothing to upgrade from Sunken Temple and also caster upgrades like 1-2 spell dmg.

I dont play sod, just enjoy savix content 😃

The updated 5 man loot is awesome. And being able run dungeons for Wild offerings that get us some decent gear. I think the 5 man system is extremely underrated and underrepresented. I got he 2.00 speed 2h sword from ZF and is PUMPS.

I quit SOD cause of players' elitism. Just can't get un pugs. This community is worse than League of legend's

Look Sod is great for test ideas but, I'll be damned if I have to play end classic yet again from 1-60 for the next like 10 years. We need new and old. We need the game play style and numbers of classic and old world designs but with fresh takes from more recent games. Idk I won't be wasting any time for blizzard or their lack luster games anymore

i enjoyed it on phase 1 but it feels too diferent to classic for me, i prefeer clasic era as it is, i think the only perfect classic is era, i wish blizzard make another SoM or Classic launch svs to Classic and TBC ending in TBC (TBC HYPE!)

Because Phase one had no XP buffs or extremely overtuned new content. People were actually playing the game instead of spamming dungeons/incursion loops. Game felt very active and alive. Everything they added made the game worse.

I was leaving to farm the maraudon dagger until after exalted with emerald and after getting rank 7 pvp yesterday I tried to farm the dagger and thank dear god I managed it on the second try SOD HYPE SOD HYPE

I just want a perma cata/mop expansion. Where I can just twink… and actually queue into random bgs without some bullshit lol. That’s where my ‘fun’ is. Anything else is just a grind fest and I’m just burnt out with grinding

I cant wait to get my title for killing onyxia and getting buffs for my paladin from it. It will be "legendary". 😅

My favorite thing about SoD is how fast it can improve the look of your yard.

Economy is completely scuffed and will not recover. It's ripperino on that front.

If you made it this far = Comment... oh boy... What I think is this. Imagine you are eating a hamburger (Aka Classic WoW) and you enjoy it so much you tell the cooks "More of this please" (Aka Classic+ Request). And they bring you a Grilled Cheese Sandwich. That's SoD. TLDR = If you like RAIDING then you will like SoD. If you liked ANYTHING ELSE about Classic... Leveling, making gold, PvP, Building Something over time, Community... then not so much.

The best way to fix that pvp mess is simple.Blizz must make DR for every class/spec individual % or perfect variant will be DR for every Spell or ability which dmg is broken or both variants.So balansing in pve and pvp will be very ez.For example u give 30% flat dmg buff on SP and u make individual dr for it -30% flat dmg in pvp or just - 30% DR on devour pleg and mind blast..That will make pvp balancing super ez ,fluid and acurate.After every buff in pve u can fix the negative impact in pvp instant.Аnd the wolf full and the lamb whole.Hope blizz make that change and stop being lazy.

I'm pretty much on the same opinion as always. I love SoD, but I think the issue with SoD is largely the community. People hate on retail cause it "perverts" the idea of WoW. Classic was good, but when they start adding some retail-esque mechanics they completely say it's dead and ruined, but then by the end of the phase the game is a ghost town. People raid log every week, they log on maybe to do one or two runs for the guild and that's that. Someone brings up retail, and it's a hornet nest of retail bad, retail dog, but they don't even consider trying it. Retail is fine, it may be overwhelming but at the end of the day we're all WoW players. WoW players are eating REALLY good right now. We had Classic Era / Hardcore (SFF included) / Cata Classic / Retail ( TWW Soon!) / Plunderstorm ( removed soon ) / MoP Remix. We have SO MANY different things to do that we shouldn't be complaining about which game mode is better. We're all gamers, let's game.

That's just not true. SoD has had very major issues since day 1. Don't give Blizz a free pass and blame the community. I mean most recently just look at incursions. Funneling entire servers into broken merry-go-round repetitive content that boosted everyone to max level in less than 6 hours...

Yes, they made mistakes, I won't deny that SoD had it's issues, but A LOT of the issues were community based. I legit remember people GEAR CHECKING BFD, funneling BIS gear for 800-900g in PHASE 1. Now all that's left of SoD is minmaxing, bots selling portals to every rune zone and people who invest way to much into the game to keep playing.

The Nightmare Incursions. That the reason. Literally erased the need to farm gold or gear. Max level professions instantly with full sets of 50s blues and it took a couple of days. Then straight to raid which was overtuned as hell and then nerfed to the ground right after. Now its just raid logging while keeping your world buffs up and spawn camping solo players at the faction vendors in raid groups. They added a retail catch up mechanic into classic and people wonder why the servers are dead. I mean people are farming arcane crystals because there's literally nothing else to do.

Phase 1 was awesome, phase 2 pvp was epic but the runes all maintenance and the raid just more of the same. Phase 3 they fucked up, to many easy farms that clearly they didn't intend for it to be that way, the raid is nice but the gear is garbage (example most spellcaster gear is just 1 sp more than the preraid bis). The runes in phase 3 are better but still lack the dynamic feel that the phase 1 runes had. It also is kind of shit that the 6 piece set from incursions is ass for almost everyone.

Blizz completely fucked SOD thanks to imbalanced shit and the gold abuses in the beginning that made prices go nuclear. pala needs a complete rework... take away bubble and give us a damn gap closer, like an angel teleport

I just don't care. Cata Classic is coming, MoP Remix looks fun as well. Seems like a bit of a useless time sink right now.

Never played season 3. Cancelled subscription, after finding out ST was 20 man and the same number of loot drops per bosses. On top of the raid looking high effort minimal reward. At lvl 60 there should be Mythic Dungeons +1 - 6 With new items and sets similar to what dusk haven private server had. Scarlet monastery was a lvl 60 mythic dungeon zone with some custom bosses. There should be a heroic raid diffuculty. Not mythic raid. Understand heroic raid. Mythic dungeon. Alt classes should get a pass on runes. They should still have to go out and farm them. just Make the quests soloable. If u keep mimicking ascenion pvp dampening u will end up ruining pvp all together. If u have to dampen over 20%-30%dmg you need to start looking at other things to resolve this. Resolve the old issue of original wow, and loot rng. I have played classic for a long time a week or to after its beta have been on both ends of the loot rng. Have gotten 8/8 tier set in one raid before. And also i have spent over a year in bwl and have gotten only 3 items from it on dkp loot system The few, will get their entire bis. The majority will slowly quit. Cannot expect people to show up weekly and leave with nothing to show for it.

I don't get it, why won't they quit and just go to retail? If you hate the game so much it's best for you to bail out. Why would you make yourself suffer?

They over nerfed ST... The first round of nerfs was perfect & it felt like Ulduar level difficulty... Then they just nerfed it into the dirt and made it easier then WotLK Naxx

imagine doing 50 runs of a single dungeon to get 1 item that's bis for the very temporary level 50 bracket that Blizzard added solely to milk the gametime hours of the classic andrews

Sod phase 1 was a blast but lasted way too long. Every other phase after that has been boring and unimaginative. Phase 3 made me quit after a week or so

Sod sucks currently. P1 was awesome but p2 and p3 suck donkey balls as im not a fan of chasing bis items every 3 months, especially when those items dont/wont even matter since its not endgame.

For every good idea they have, they also have 5 bad ideas. All the bad ideas finally caught up in phase 3 and now the devs are speed running the death of SoD.

Classic+ was supposed to be classic gameplay with new content... not new spells wtfff :'(

I disagree with what you said. Classes are unbalanced, and SoD has made it more playable.

I think 20 man raiding ruined SoD, so yeah... 10 man was great and you could pug anytime or raid with guild

The game became a shit show.. PvP is no fun at all..

The issue is why blizzard sell "SOD" like classic experience and nothing is about classic . They just don't know what to do with SOD. SOM 2.0
