Thank you!!! I couldn't figure out how to to run the cord out of the engine compartment and was going to come up through the steering column somehow. The floor panel that I had to remove on my 21" Cruise was not to the left of the engine bay cover, but the one in front of that in order to access the breather tube. I didn't take the grommet out of the hole, just pushed down on the corrugated tube and ran the solar charger cord through that gap. Much appreciated for you taking the time to post this solution!

Glad it helped
Thank you for posting this. I’ve seen a few NOCO charger solutions but I don’t have electricity down by the dock where I’ll keep the Switch for summer. Hoping this does the trick. Thanks again!

Just be sure to use the 20 watt model I listed. It took a full day for mine to get the charge to full capacity. And it maintained it after that.

@@letsrolldiyauto1532 Thank you! I saw your links (very helpful) and used those to order parts. Curious if you have an interest in a second battery or if this does the trick for you?

@@urs-id9yi I might put in a secondary battery. But this definitely does the trick at a lot lower cost.

So if u add this can u then run the radio when the engine isnt running? Or have u figured out a way to use the radio when the engine is off and not drain the battery?
Can you use one charger for both your battery or do you need one for each battery?
Nice panel.

Thanks!
Next years model should have this sort of port.
I love your videos but it would be great to have some wide angle views… It is very difficult to decipher what location you are working in… I am eventually able to figure it out but a wide angle shot would be helpful.
