So I tested all three yellow wire combinations and my multi meter doesn't budge of OL does that mean the stator is bad ?

You would have to call dealer to get numbers what it’s supposed to read all stators are different and just to clarify you had multimeter set on ohms

Most of what I seen working on small engines usually stators fail on high side meaning most engines will run and idle but when you demand power they will only rev a little bit then act up
