This is an experiment to use 250ml of denitrate in a 1 gallon capacity canister. Flow rate is 100 gal/hour using a separate inline pump. The seachem label states that the optimal flow rate should not exceed 200 litres/hour.
To slow the flow the media was placed in a 500ml bottle which was then shrunk over a gas flame. This resulted in a compact enclosure which could be drilled to permit a reduced water flow
