A lovely, honest film of a true countryman, it was wonderful to watch.

Love watching these old films as I am in my sixtys it brings back great memories and it was when life was great not the same now

I left school in the seventies and came home to farm, so many memories here for me to fantastic series of films thanks for putting this on.

Fantastic stuff! What a well spoken hard workin gentleman really enjoyed all those episodes wish there was more.

Sadly, Richard died a short year after filming this, hardly making his early 50s, not the great age of his relative he talks about here.

been looking for this for years,as watched it first time around,seem to think he passed away shortly after it was shown.
