This is a really fun fly to tie but an even more fun fly to fish, the faster you fish it the more aggressive the takes will be.
This pattern is a sea trout fly but it is also a good pattern for large perch, but in that case you can remove the stinger. Also try fishing this fly with a Magic Head size R13 in front, it will create a little more movement but most importantly a good water pressure so the sea trout can "hear" and find the fly easier. I prefer to fish these types of flies on sinking lines so you can have a high speed retrieve but still have the fly 50cm below the surface. Have fun guy's!
