SEA SHANTY TIK TOK PART 3 🏴‍☠️⛵🌊 SHANTYTOK TIKTOK 2021

Don't worry, we'll have more non-shanty content soon enough - but you've got to set sail while the wind is blowing. Yes, I know that Amazing Grace isn't a sea shanty, but I like it.
If you like what you see on the channel please subscribe, it really inspires me to make more of these! And if you're in one of these tik tok videos and don't want this up, just let me know at dustygalline@gmail.com and I'll take it down.

Hey! I'm the second comment but I'm sure that's not so important. What is important is... How are you? Have you slept 8 hours? Have you drank water? Have you eaten? Remember, you're valid, you're not a burden, it's ok to not be ok I believe in you and I'm so proud of you! Keep safe, and thanks for the beautiful video, almost as beautiful as the person reading this💖💖💖

Dude, I don't know you. I doubt we'll ever meet in person. But my life has been going spectacularly pear-shaped as of late, today was especially bad, & I didn't know how much I needed to hear that. Thank you very much kind internet stranger. I wish you; deep sleep, sweet dreams, better days ahead, & bountiful opportunity is to make lots of wonderful memories.

Dear Emmet, I'm glad that you hear those words because you disserve them just as mucha as anyone else, and please, every time you're going down in life just remind yourself this: when you hit rock bottom, there is only one direction left, and that is up! Have an amazing day! (And the sentence is from the animated movie "Sing" hehe)

While Amazing Grace may not be a shanty, it was written by a man who had been a sailor in the Navy, then on a slave ship, before becoming a minister. The inspiration for the song was partly due to his need for redemption for having once been involved with the slave trade. Written in 1773 to accompany a sermon, it may have been chanted by the congregation before music was added. So including it actually makes a bit of sense.

That Viking Bass was basically the sound of rolling thunder in human form and was both Awe inspiring and majestic, and the absolutely beautiful harmony in "Row, Me Bully Boys" is 1000% on point and they both knocked it out of the park

I was going to say, "Hey, Amazing Grace isn't a sea shanty." Then I remembered the author was a ship's captain and a repentant slaver, devastated by his history and guilt. If that isn't a sea shanty, I don't know what is.
