I absolutely adore this sort of singing. Reminds me of why mongolian throat singing and choirs tend to get me from deep within. Legit shivers, I'm not religious but man imagining this being sung in a cathedral ... Amazing work everyone and Thatbassvoice caught me so off guard, someone said "Dragon king" in the comments and this is so spot on lmfao like bothering a dragon king from its slumber for an audience that can only end 1 of 2 ways !! bruh if I wasn't such a lazy motherf* I'd make an animatic in a he(art) beat ;;

I found this video in the most unconventional of ways. Someone put part of this song on a youtube short showing the dangerous life of underwater welders and oil rig workers out at sea. So I posted “How many people are watching this video over and over, not because of the content, but because the deep voices of the men singing the shanty is so incredibly mesmerizing? And in one day I got over 50 likes. So I decided to try and tack it down because people were unsuccessfully trying to find it. This led me to Bobby Bass’s channel and now there’s about a hundred people who are SO HAPPY to have the full version!!

@@kyara_rose I’m probably closer to baritone than bass (I’m kind of between the two) so hoist the colours is a little too low for me - by that I mean it’s doable when I first wake up and no other time of day 😂 but at that same time of morning I have much less vocal control and access to my higher range so I would definitely need to work on it but I would be willing to practice that and attempt it with you if you’re a soprano?

[Lyrics] Hoist the Colors - Hans Zimmer. 🏴☠️The King and his men Stole the Queen from her bed And bound her in her bones The seas be ours And by the powers Where we will we'll roam. Yo ho, all hands Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die. Now some have died And some are alive And others sail on the sea With the keys to the cage And the Devil to pay we lay to Fiddler's *Green.* Yo ho, all hands Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die. Yo ho, haul together Hoist the colours high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die. The bell has been raised From it's watery grave Hear it's sepulchral tone? We call to all Pay heed the squall And turn yourself toward *home.* Yo ho, all hands Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall we die. Yo ho, haul together Hoist the colors high Heave ho, thieves and beggars Never shall *we die.* 🏴☠️ I appreciate the likes, since I wanted so bad to listen to it with proper lyrics, and I wasn't able to find it anywhere on this comment section, so I decided to do it myself. pretty time consuming tbh 😂 Ps: I noticed some mistakes and fixed it 👍

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU IS AMAZING INDIVIDUALLY AND AS A GROUP!!! My alto jaw is on the FLOOR. I adore deep vocals and I feel like they always take a back seat to those who are usually selected to solo, despite holding the whole damn composition down. My dude with the glasses: now THAT's what basso profundo sounds like, in resonance, tone, and projection. And the young men who are hitting high tenor in this piece - your range is nothing short of astounding! Bass Singers of Tiktok: PLEASE consider transposing some other compositions to complement your registers, even if they were not created with your voices in mind. (Like, y'all would slay the King's Singers' "You Are the New Day.") Y'all don't need accompaniment - you're a whole orchestra unto yourselves. I would buy a 2-hour-long album of your music and annoy all of my friends talking you up. Literally the sexiest thing I've heard in years, no cap.
