Sea of Creepy Monsters - Go Wild
The Lembeh strait in the northern part of the Idonesian island of Sulawesi is a unique hotspot of marine biodiversity. Countless amazing creatures thrive in the underwater landscape surrounding Lembeh island. During four years a wildlife filmmaker couple spent many months in the region capturing hundreds of hours of behavior, lots of it never filmed before. Among other unique behavior the filmmakers were able to shoot an Anglerfish swallowing a Lionfish, a scene resembling Godzilla gulping down Dracula. Elegant seahorses, thumb-splitting Mantis shrimp, and deadly mini-octopuses are just some of the remarkable creatures traditional underwater films tend to overlook. As most of the underwater drama is hidden from plain sight only the groundbreaking macro photography in this film can reveal the awe and beauty of life in the Reef of Little Monsters.

Jamie Carter it's called Nature mate. If there were no death, there would be no life. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with ANYONE that is interested in learning and understanding more about the Nature located on our Planet. It signifies an open mind and a craving for knowledge. If not emotionally and mentally touched by this documentary, there is something wrong with YOU, not someone intrigued by it.

That was one of the greatest introductions I've ever seen, with the subjects initially being the preys, only to be suddenly interrupted by the predators and then the focus switching to the predators. Comedy gold. Loved the rest of the video too. Very well made, with very good narration, photography and humour.

This is a truly wonderful film. It's so unique. I've never seen a nature doc like it. It's professional and not at all dumbed down and it's playful too. Most all of the animals havent been featured in other nature films, and I've seen the best. Big ups to the team that made this. You're a powerhouse of talent.

This video in a word … outstanding. 🐨🇦🇺
I just want to say I have the utmost respect for these scientists that must have spent so much time and sacrificed their eyesight just to find some of these tiny animals. Thanks for all you've shown us.
This is one of the best documentaries I think I've ever seen. Yes, the beginning is hilarious; I wasn't sure what to make of it, but it resolved into a clever mix of an outrageous and unbelievable number of tiny fish that have never before been seen. It's also comedy gold! At 39:25, there is a well-presented skit with some Frog Fish that is not only fascinating, but entertaining as well. I am a new subscriber and if their other documentaries prove to be this good, this channel is going straight to my "notification bell" best-ofs!
Unforgettable footage. Thank you. Well done! Deserves an award.

Wonderful, beautiful and just what I needed!! Thank you for uploading!!
For those of us who are undersea water addicts, a documentary on sea life is usually welcome but its oft repeated themes and scenes most likely provoke a ho hum reaction. This is NOT the case with this documentary of sea life close to Indonesia's Sulawesi by two Austrians. Their attention to detail and patience has yielded a treasure trove of previously unknown creatures or behavior. Very, very worthwhile to watch. The 480p sounds terrible, but actually the clarity is closer to 720p.
I LOVE THIS! Billions of people have never been privileged to see these creatures. I'm so appreciative of the inventers and adventurers who have made it possible to see them!

This is by far one of the best underwater documentaries with amazing footage. Satisfies my love and curiosity of the deep blue more than all the other docs I have seen that employed more crew, more equipment, better picture direction, better post production, all that. How about the music written for all the scenes? Priceless.
First time I've busted out laughing at poor little fishies. LOL Really enjoyed this video. Thank you.
There is a lot of underwater footage existant, like anything that humans can point a camera at, but this segment is loaded with some of the greatest underwater photography work I have seen. Like a modern-day Painleve'.

At 19:09 I absolutely LOVE the cuddle fish and how curious he is with the divers. If the world didn't pillage the oceans and Lakes, and only fished NONCOMMERCIALLY and ONLY ate what we needed, and we all humans stopped polluting ourselves and start cleaning up the waters TOGETHER, this beautiful vidoe of a cuddlefish and humans side by side with no worries, then I believe that we as a whole just might stand a chance. These oceans NEED OUR HELP, we are losing precious time and life in the corral reefs and all species within EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF EVERY SINGLE DAY. If you can, please reach out to anyone to help with this effort to clean up. Our earth needs help!
@DK26KM
Жыл бұрын
at least, cut off tourism. Sure, as mentioned, some of the rubbish has provided shelter to some of the sea creatures, but a bunch of inconsiderate rampant tourists will ruin the reefs. We dont need to clean up, we just need to stop messing up ; After we've done that, then we can discuss on recovering the oceans.
>CREEPY SEA CREATURES >Tiny cute slugs, tiny cute octopuses, and a sexy shrimp I didn't come here for this but I am COMPLETELY delighted.
