Hydro bike float. I got them used for $20.

Excellent, I just scored 2 wind surfers and 3 sails, one sail brand new for free. Looking to see what others have done as I want to use the mast/sail on my 17 foot kayak. Thanks for clip

as i do remember it was ~6m^2

What do you use in stead of the mast extension?

it was a regular mast extension used. i have heated the pvc pipe lower end and put it over the extension.

How well does it sail upwind?

it was good. centerboards for sure will make it better. the bigger sail the bigger center board should be.
