is the Super Cruiser good for upwind? I fly with 7m sail and 8-12 kt wind speed, need a lot of pumping to take off, SuperCruiser is wired, and sometimes board speed is 3-5kt and I'm flying then drop down like a rock and can't go on, my maximum board speed was only 25km/h because when going to upwind to rise the speed in that condition, the effect is opposite and immediately slow down.

You have it. Exactly the same. In some models they relocate the actuator under gas tank or seat. If you do not have the error code C46 then you nothing to worry about yet. But i future the plastic parts get damaged and need to be replaced. Some bypass the error and keep the valve widly open. It makes the bike very loud on idle and stinky. Speed and power are not affected though. But in exchange they will breath with more unburned gas on stops at lights.

i had the same ideas but then i start thinking that when valve got corroded and stack the motor stays inact and it is question of plastic gear replacement only. by the wasy I 3D printed the replacement. See next videos. As well i saw replacement kit on ebay with all plastic gears for about $30.

My Takacat is rusting! The transom tubes of the open transom are made of stainless steel 304 (V2A) (also for cost reasons). The tubes show ugly rust after a short time in a salt water environment. From my point of view, the maintenance is very time-consuming and is not reasonable for me. Unfortunately, I only found out about this disadvantage of the high maintenance effort after the purchase. For me, this product is not recommended for salt water environments. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed with the Takacat 340 LS for the above reasons. It does not meet my expectations and, in my opinion, is only partially suitable for my application as a full time yacht tender. I quote from Takacat's care instructions: 1. A first care step when driving in salt water is washing the transom tubes at the end of a trip with fresh water (fresh water) including thorough drying. 2. The insides of the transom tubes can be pulled through with an extra-long bottle brush. 3. If corrosion has formed, it can be removed with a stainless steel cleaner. 4. If you drive permanently in salt water, it is advisable to spray the transom tubes and optional slip wheels with a seawater-resistant stainless steel protector. Did you experience similar issues? Best regards Xaver

Am I the only person who's gonna put a brushless motor from a discarded drone in this thing? The motor compartment is definitely big enough by design. This new motor is thicker and a little longer. Well in the Rock Force 4x4, the engine compartment is big enough for this new one but it holds the original one in place on these plastic brackets that you can simply cut out. I looked over everything, the battery works with the motor (SO much faster)... now I just need to grow the balls to go for it because chances are 50/50 that by the end of this I will have a FWD Rock Force...
