Sea Fishing from the Beach in December

Спорт

Sea Fishing from the Shore can be harsh in Winter. Today i head to a Beach in Hastings to record the sounds and feel of what it is like to be trying to catch Fish on Englands South coast.
After a Period of illness i managed to get out fishing. Today theres no talking on the Video but an opportunity to slow down and listen to the waves. I have slowed the pace of the video down a bit, I know a lot of you have not been able to get out fishing recently.
We land a few whiting today and i demonstrate Hooking on the Lug worm (both fresh and Gutted) Not quite an ASMR video but i hope you find it enjoyable all the same.
Back to the normal style next week as my voice recovers!
As always please comment on the Video and if you haven't done so may i ask that you subscribe. It really helps the channel grow and provides me motivation to keep producing better and better videos.

    I watch plenty of videos on sea fishing and appreciate advice and tips on baits, rigs, locations etc., but want to say how enjoyable this video was, no commentary, just listening to the sounds of gulls, waves and tide over the shingle and just watching you fish, really appreciated, thank you! 👍

    That’s good to know. I think some folks miss the sound of the Sea so wanted to concentrate on that a bit more today. Appreciate the feedback

    I agree, not all of us are beginners instructional videos are fine but watching someone wrap a bait up for the hundredth time gets a bit tedious I find I'm skipping these bits on most people's vids, really enjoyed this it was a refreshing take in the fishing video genre👍🎣🎣

    Just goes to show, if your production value is this good, no need for words. This put me on the beach, could have been fishing myself. Class re chasing the bag down the beach, nice touch! Sound of the sea, the wind, the birds, pebbles under foot, very relaxing indeed. Thank you.

    Are the big breakaway leads & strong rods strictly necessary in conditions like these? Could I get away with essentially carp/pike gear and e.g. a 2oz lead?

  • @SaltwaterAngler

    @SaltwaterAngler

    6 ай бұрын

    No needs a 5oz lead. It’s not really the waves you see it’s the swell under the water. Lots of shingle shifting after the previous weather. That said on smaller tides 3oz leads will just about hold. Summer lends itself to carp style set ups for sure
