I lived in Holyhead up until 2006 and I fished around Anglesey many a time, Caught a 29 lb conger off Lilly ponds in Treaddur Bay/Rhoscolyn and lost a 50lb plus one the same night! Fished the other side of the rush for bass and my mate landed a 10lb fish there on spinner back in 1999, miss this place...Great footage by the way..

Nice session. There are some cracking fish in there. Just a quick one, don't be too hasty to strike when fishing for huss, let them have it for a while, they are notorious for riding on the bait and letting go on the surface. See you around soon i'm sure. Tightlines

Great video..I have lost a lot of good fish using squid as bait. No matter how secure the bait is whatever is on the end never seems to gets a good hook up and slips using squid..I dibt get this issue using other baits, hence why I hardly use squid.

why the big walk ?. if you had come off the a55 expressway at valley and head to holyhead on the old a5 , go over the bridge and immediately turn right . it takes you to the cafe where you fished .

If you ever do a species hunt, that mark is decent for Garfish. The opposite side, "The Rush" is a great bass venue too.

Knights Templar, you beat me to it, re the Garfish. Also that body of water that you pass by the railway line holds a good Head of Mullet, and to a decent size.

I’ve fished here a few times when the rush is pumping through, it was very active saw bass surfacing couldn’t get one but plenty of doggies and spider crabs! Good fishing! Always take some rubbish with me found at these mint places people just don’t give a f*ck! Beaches are the same angling gear all over
