SEA FISHING ADVENTURE in Dorset with lures - SURPRISE RESULTS!
Спорт
Join me and Dan sea fishing in Dorset as we explore this stunning coastline with lures. We are simply using just our perch fishing gear to try and catch bass, wrasse, mullet and anything else that comes along! We switch between soft plastics, jigs and metals to somehow catch five different species! We explore swanage, poole, christchurch and beyond on this cracking little trip away from the daily grind.
Lots of laughs and just an incredible adventure along the beautiful Jurassic coast. A proper escape into the outdoors to discover lots of new experiences :)
Our sea fishing in Dorset has inspired us to do more of this in the future! Thanks for tuning into our fantastic saltwater experience!

Brilliant! Been on hols there for last 10 years. Bit further up the coast youve gòt dancing ledge, Winspit, Kimmeridge bay &Tyneham all really good spots to roam & cast. Only 9 weeks & I'm back to beautiful Swanage.

Yeah, perfect spot for a bit of holiday fishing! Good luck!
Great video - very local to me and you picked some good spots. I’ve dived all those locations (with the exception of Christchurch harbour) and I’d recommend always fishing on a rising tide. The bait fish come in to look for food as the tide covers the rock, and the predators follow them. Wrasse are territorial and live around the same rocks all the time, so they’re always there, but don’t always feed. Poole harbour can have great flatfish on the Studland side.
Cracking video nick, I’d love to be nearer coast as looks a adventure and wrasse are ace
Enjoyed that brilliant video thank you 👍🍻🎣

You were staying in a camp site 5 mins from my house and fishing my local spots and I didn't get an invite 🤣🤣hope you enjoyed your holiday. Dorset has a lot to offer the visiting angler .A free tip for next time poole Harbour fishes best an hour before low and an hour after ,early mornings are best and if you are after bass which is my fish of choice top water is the way to go 90%of my bass come to top water inside poole Harbour. Great vid tight lines 🎣🎣

Next time 100%!! I stay down there all the time and love Poole and the whole of Dorset! Ping me a message. Let’s make it happen 👌👌👌👍
Great vid. I do well with rag worm on a jig head or dropshot. The guy you were with seems a laugh to fish with. Always helps having someone to help with slow sessions

Yet again another great video. Good game of spot the rucksack 🎒. We know you are in Dorset but, if you don't mind me asking what was the campsite you were on? As we are looking to go to that neck of the woods for a little bit of a holiday ( I have my own caravan) we'll either tow ours down or find accommodation somewhere nearby. The beauty of this is, you can use the tackle that you already have and apart from maybe buying a few Meps spinners ( mine disappeared years ago,vanished into thin air but no one took them) Looks like you enjoyed yourselves? even the fruitless miles of lanes for nothing 😮 you got your steps in and plenty of fresh air. Always look forward to your next video upload. Cheers mate 👍be lucky. Les.

Thanks for checking out the video 👍 We stayed at Huntick Farm and I would also recommend South Lychett Manor. Both lovely campsites in a stunning location not far from Poole. I hope that helps 👍👍👍
im really a novice at sea fishing but, only advise i can give is to not take your queues on good or bad spots by the time of day, use the tide instead, as im betting the poole harbour spot would probably have produced again had you gone during the same tide as the day before. as others have said rising is usually best.
Top Gear style fishing trip 😂

Great video again Nick 👌 not too far from me now since the move! If you don’t mind me asking what gear are you using, is it Korum? Im in the market for some sea spinning gear you see 👍
@Lifeonthebank
Жыл бұрын
I was using the Korum 21g ZT lure rod. 2500 Switch reel. I was also using their 4 piece travel lure rod in 41g but I would go with the ZT tbh.
Great video, is the reel you used good for saltwater?, if so what model is it.
@Lifeonthebank
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! It’s not ideal tbh, it’s just one of my coarse v fishing reels. I had the rinse it well after using it in salt water.
That spot you guys were in where you had the nice wrass and bass… did you find you got asked to move on? I know exactly where that is and have considered going a few times
