    Hello from northern Cal! A most upsetting day, dealing with chaos queens! What I needed most was a rockhounding adventure. Thank you, Nate, for sharing with us. Bright Blessings and Many Smiles!

    Such a lovely and peaceful, early evening, rockhounding adventure! The gorgeous wonderscape stones were plenty and of course the gorgeous bowenite! The beautiful green chert in your area is amazing and when it has the brown layer with it, it looks like a chocolate mint pie! Yummy! But the yummiest piece you found, was that fantastic piece of jasper! The reds and purples, and bright yellows and oranges and the greens! It has just about every color it could have, all mixed in the same rock with gorgeous patterns! It was truly amazing! Thank you so much Nate, for taking us out with you this evening, and getting to see that wonderful osprey! Such amazing birds! Thanks Nate❣️

    trying to keep a rotating blend of questing this season, more garden and nature, and metal / treasure hunting again , but with a constant flow of hounding each week, so hoping to get more videos out, and keep the Rockin at a steady flow no matter what. so many cool things on my list I want to get to this season......working hard, and playing harder ! thanks for coming along !

    I have to pass so many spots on the way home sometimes, usually at least one lures me in for a wander, I ever have the bucket of rocks in the back, it just fills itself back up no matter how many times I empty it. : )

    I really enjoy hiking around putah , i dont often get too anymore but once a year i make sure i take a mini vacation and go there to get grounded in my soul. Sure has brought me alot of peaceful and unique moments over the years. Good to recharge your batteries so to speak. Nice finds nate.

    for sure , its good medicine that soaks right to the soul, an evening by a river out in the hills , will calm the daily turmoils of any mind, just have to pause and let the thoughts flow off and away.

    @QuestForDetails That's amazing! I'm in NH and have the rare honor of watching Bald Eagles at the River in early April, taking flight for the Spring and Summer. Humbling experience for sure. The Osprey are lucky to have you cherishing them. ❤️ Stay safe!

    because you reminded me how fun the old Handy cam was. I then figured out how to get hi def shots out of that style camera, and so these zoom shots and look of this season returning to original format was inspired by you. I sat back at once and knew i'd chased progress to the point where I was loosing something ,I didn't want to loose....the details. , so, thank you for the reminder. we have a good team here on the quest !

    we used to rain hurt bird of prey , my dad would bring them home from roadside injuries and we would rehab them , he had great success ,we were always finding food for them while on the mend and then releasing them. it was a fun part of my youth and they are good memories and good medicine when ever I see them free in the wild.

    Out of curiosity can you recommend good spots on Putah Creek below Lake berryessa?

  • @QuestForDetails

    @QuestForDetails

    Ай бұрын

    it tends to be deep and wide below, because the river emerges from a huge damn, and then flows out to its canals in the valley , all the creeks that feed into it at the north end putah ,pope, ect have good gravel beds....
