Rush has always had a underground culture following. During the eighties while all the other bands had to use commercials to fill the seats. Rush never advertised and always sold out. Once you experience Rush live, you were a fan for life.

You two are a big reason I’m ‘into’ pinball. Don’t own one yet myself $$ but love watching your content and definitely have a perfect home lineup built in my head. As most would agree we love the content and can’t wait for more!

Can never go wrong with pinball as it is a great investment. Had a chance to get a Adams family for 2k in 2007 I just started moving and a few weeks later it was gone and the kicker was it was in like new condition with little playtime on it. You can't touch that pin today for that price. I should of grabbed it and put it in storage until I was settled in and still kicking myself in 2023!

@@SDTM None yet! I'm down for a Godzilla Premium with you all later this year. I played a Jurassic Park Pro a few days ago that I really enjoyed so I think that or the Premium will be my #2. As far as a #3, I'm currently leaning towards an Attack From Mars remake if I can find one or a Medieval Madness but I haven't played that one yet.

I agree with Greg. Rush is a great game, and the code is awesome. I wasn't a rush fan but became one. Great job, guys. Happy New Year!!

I am amazed that I never saw this machine pushed by the Rush merch machine. I would bet that there are enough non-pinhead Rush fans that have never heard about the machine that would buy it to make it the biggest selling machine of all time. It is easy to envision 25,000 people world wide buying it.

I have a Rush Pro and love it. I waited for the expression lighting but thankfully I added pin stadium Neos. Takes this game to a new level. Love it!

No mention of Haggis Pinballs remake of Bally's Fathom? That was a 2022 release, for the most part, and I think they knocked it out of the park with quality and respect to detail from the original. If rumors hold true; they have Bally's Xenon and Centaur on the horizon and they are going to have to get their production rolling on getting those Fathom machines out and about. Here's wishing you both a very Happy New Year. The two of you bring a lot of fun and passion to the pinball world and I enjoy hearing what you both have to say. Cheers!

Great show! Haven't heard about a lot of these pinball machines yet, mostly stick around my local arcade 👾

How about The Fifth Element for a pin? I think it would be a slam dunk as the imagery and callouts would be an absolute gold mine as far as theme is concerned. I've brought it up in numerous forums and people agree it would be amazing, but it doesn't seem to be even remotely on any manufacturer's radar. In fact I never even hear anyone even mention it as a possible theme until I randomly bring it up in various discussions. I'm curious as to both of your thoughts on this? Happy New Year boys.

The great thing about insider connect is you can log-in mid game! I was playing TMNT and hit a new high score and quickly scanned my phone to nail down that proof! The best part of 2022 was I joined the hobby through Zach with TMNT Premium! I underestimated how heavy the backbox side it trying to carry down a flight of stairs to the basement. The whole family has been playing a ton out of the game and having fun. I've been able to introduce my 3 and 5 year-olds to the old TMNT series I watched as a kid.

U guys are the best n deserve the twipy love what you do. I’ve got 2 more weeks of radiation treatment n planning to get Cactus Canyon if I can recoup my funds. Keep up the great job.

Alien has such a great theme, it just pulls you in.

Rush has a following unlike alot of bands who will buy whatever new thing out there. Like G&R...you might as well capitalize on the fan base that would pay for it now rather than never ever. Rush is GOAT hands down. Band and pin haha!!

Great show. Haven’t watched in awhile, but the reason why people accuse y’all of “shilling” is because in old content Zach used to be extremely critical of game issues, and the second he bought Flip ‘n Out he became 99% positive about everything. At this point I think he’s found his lane and is balanced in praise and criticism which helps fans better trust the content.

Zach is spot on about multimorphic. In a similar vein cgc flippers suck compared to Bally/Williams and are the main limitation for me in wanting to pick up one of their machines.

Two cousin in-laws from Indiana could never understand the alure of Rush.

What Zack doesn't understand about Rush is that they are STILL one of the most popular rock bands in the history of Rock n' Roll and their fan base (like me) are a cult who watched them in concert more then 10+ times in their lives (common with fans). The issue has always been that Rush has always been a love or hate band. The closest derivative in the Rock world is the Grateful Dead.

Rush to me is an awesome band, done now with the death of Neal Peart, but the reason I liked them the most was the heartfelt thoughtful lyrics. Really resonated with me in my teenage years.

Rush and Maiden are awesome themes if you are enough of a fan of the bands to regularly go to the shows. If not, I can see why some don't get it. Both work for me!

I think Stern will utilize IC to sell gift cards. Eventually you'll be able to put money on your IC account and pay for games on location by scanning your QR code. Reload your IC balance with gift cards. Something like that.

Somebody needs to make a pinball based on the first two hell raiser movies. Then when you’re playing, you can spend time in a real pinball hell!

It's been my experience that "rock band" pinballs are usually pretty good. Kiss, Guns N Roses, Metallica, AC/DC, Led Zep, Iron Maiden, etc have all been a fun time. I'm not surprised that Rush is good. Megadeth should be next to get the pinball treatment.

Super8 came out 10 years before Stranger Things...

49:26 Not that it's impossible but people playing videogames are not spending $10k to buy a game before the dev asks them to hand over more, in fact it's been argued that subscriptions/battle passes, microtransactions etc. are the reason game prices have not followed inflation for many years, decades even, can't really say the same for pinball.

Yes, Rush is a fantastic theme (best band of all time) while Toy Story (a children's movie) sucks

Toy Story 4 was just an odd choice, as noted by being about just 4 turned off many, then you got the older audience that Pinball is mostly made up, again that hurt it. And then the crazy high price? Yea that just too many negatives against it when so many other popular games were there and announced. Local dealers just been sitting on unsold TS4 all year

I love Rush (the Band) but I really didn't like the flow of the pin...hard to describe, but I don't think it fits my style (or preference) of play. But I'm glad it's out there!

Toy story cant be saved by code because when you walk up to the game the disappointment of so much of the prominent space and design potential being devoted to the least memorable characters is too overpowering. It is a 12k$ totem of wasted promise.

Always thought a pin based on the current or future Grand Theft Auto video game would be a good theme for "Modern audiences".

I enjoy the rush game besides the music. I get I’m in the minority here but at 45 years old I have never been able to enjoy Geddy’s voice. BUT I do enjoy playing the table at my local arcade. I also like Led Zep because I love the music but the game is meh. That’s why I love this hobby, something for everyone!

Stern may have great service when it comes to their dealers, but they are atrocious when it comes to the end user. In the past year alone; I had to wait 7 months for them to send a part to fix my NIB, D.O.A., AIQ Premium, I had to file 3 credit card disputes against them for not shipping (or even knowing anything about) 3 orders I placed with them, (after months of waiting and being charged) and now I'm waiting on another dispute as they charged my credit card (without my consent) for an Insider Connect account I never signed up for and can not access or cancel. Nor do they ever answer any emails or return any phone calls. Stern makes great pins, but they are completely incompetent when it comes to their customer service practices. American Pinball, Spooky and Pinball Bros annihilate Stern in that regard.

Look behind you. Don't bother talking about cabinet art as nobody ever sees it in a connection. Machines take up room so they're always butted up to something

Toy story tanked because of Disney Corp and new toy story movie

Rush is a big let down know all the song and albums, just not that great of a pinball imo feels off

I loved this episode. I think you folks were fair on pretty much everything, except during your intro labeling weird Al and multimorphic second tier. They are totally second tier compared to stern and JJP as far as being big dogs / units sold. But the comment was in the context of game of the year. While I don’t think weird Al will win game of the year, I do think that the license? Game play and over all game are on par with Toy Story, rush, and bond. I don’t think it is a tier 2 game. You may not like it, but if you compare all the mechs and capability of the game, it is a tier 1 offering

Sorry your disappointed. Are you into pinball? You would know that one or two of those can be difficult to get any plays on. Not begging, just asking for a donation if you enjoy the show and all the time we put into it. Other wise we spend hours filming and editing for your enjoyment( or lack there of) for free. Pinball unfortunately, is not a big enough hobby to make any money from KZread or anything so we just ask if enjoy the show they donate.
