I love my Avengers Pro. I agree that the the character presence lacks soul which comes through on callouts. This was my first table ever, and am a beginning player so found it to be brutal. But, satisfying enough that I keep coming back for more. The Pro felt too Avengers heavy as I believe Thanos is the star of this table so I swapped out my translite with a premium version and it looks so much better. That being said this pin is so beloved that I picked up a Jurassic Premium simply because of my satisfaction with my AIQ.

Upgrade the Flipper Coils!!!! Stranger Things and Avengers IQ shoot perfectly with the Pinball Life LOTR flipper coils!! Soldering is needed!!! Changed mine in 15 minutes!! Best upgrade for games with huge ramps!!! Scott from pin stadium for the win!!!! Excellent advice Scott!!!!!

What's the part number?

Just found your channel a month or so ago. I’m finishing my basement and am planning on a game area with space for a few pin ball machines. I’m a newbie to this world. Have you ever done a video on how to buy a used pin? Where to look, what to look for, what to beware of, etc? I looked through your videos for the last 3 years and don’t think I saw anything to that tune. Either way, love the videos. Thanks for producing such great content!

Nice to see you fellas! Always super in depth, and I truly appreciate it! Sounds like you guys are on the fence with this one. It’s how I feel about Dracula. I love it. It’s addicting..but I leave mad more than happy when I play it. I think I will sell it to make room for Avengers. I don’t feel I would need them both. I don’t want to be frustrated with 2 games in my collection. Lol

So I agree with Greg. Audio is super important. If you watch a movie and the pic isn’t great but the audio is great, you can watch it. If the audio sucks it’s trash. Greg a great interview would be with like a Keith and walk through creating soup to nuts so we can get a lot of truer questions answered. Would love that in SDTM

Great review guys! I agree with Zach on the shots/layout. That's an A sure. I also find it to be a long player. Greg I feel the same way as you, I don't think I'm having a ton of fun but I keep playing it too! Zach you totally hit when you said about the rules. It is fun, but just too much work. Your B grade is spot on. I love your guys reviews. Keep doing what you are doing!

Great review of Avengers! I own this pin and am not a pro. You guys see this machine so much the same as I do. It can piss you off too? 😆 Don’t know where you went but I’m glad you did this machine upon your return. Thanks! BTW: Lighting up those back ramps is the best mod (cheapest) of many that I’ve done to this machine besides the (expensive) Mezelmod tower.. Keep em coming guys!

I think my favorite part about the game is seeing that versus screen. Changing my strategy depending on how I want to play. But I am a competitive play so I like the skill shots and things along the lines of that. I do agree that thanos is definitely that saving grace in voice. I do wish there was a cool call out for the versus screen, it needs it

Yes definitely make a video on the different types of player and the different types of games and which types of games different types of players tend to like. I'm relatively new to pinball and despite everyone loving pat lawlor games i just never got into them, whereas i cant get enough of attack from mars. Would love to know what games i'd most likely like based on what i already like to play.

I appreciate the review, thumbs up for sure! However the reasons you don't love the game are some of the reasons I do. The rules are at first overly complex, but this allows the game to grow with you in a home environment, which makes it a long lasting game, in my collection anyway. I don't really understand where to place the gems once they are earned and I really don't care right now, but one day i might sink my teeth into it. It certainly doesn't take away from the game for me. The shots are so satisfying and the combos, ohhh the combos this game just flows.

Hey Zach I heard you mentioned me in a pod cast. I'm the guy who had the radical. I did sell it but I also used the money to buy deadpool from you. Love me some deadpool. Wish I could of got you that game. Would of been pretty cool seeing it on SDTM. Oh well.

Stern released a Led Zeppelin pinball early this year! I think Stern should make a pinball based on the cartoon The Magic School Bus! How does that sound?

This is one of the few games I like the Pro Version better, the Captain Marvel shot on the Premium has a vert ramp that is a nightmare. Overall a beautiful game though, but man is it fast and tough. Great review dudes 👍🏻

Greg's got it right, it's an amazing pin, but every shot you don't hit a 100% accurate is gone, even if you hit the hulk shot perfect it comes back STDM from CA, on top of that too many rejects make this a very hard pin. Also the rules are way to complicated/extensive to just have a simple fun game

Absolutely nailed it on the shots…I’ve had it a year now, and it’s the most frustrating game ever because of the shot precision needed (and i consider myself a very good player)…B is the correct score, especially hate the sanctum shot…the spinner is ALWAYS in the way! Rules are fun…but the progression isn’t when you lose a mode. You feel zero progression and can’t get the gem again unless you get another gem or beat thanos…meh, still love the table, but is the one going to be replaced soon.

This is a good show. Would love if you guys just added like 20 minutes of gameplay at the end as well

Played both of these back to back and TMNT (both pro) seemed more fun. And the power up shot at 6 between the posts, how do you hit that! dayum.

this episode was hilarious

No Fear is a great example of when you don’t have to use your third flipper. I actually prefer not to use it a lot of the time.

Hi Zack & Greg. I bought an Avengers Premium NIB and I love it but my flippers seem weak and I struggle to make it up the ramps in the back. Is that a common problem with this game or do I need to set the incline to a certain level to hit the sweet spot? My flipper power is at 255 and I just wish they were stronger. I would like to know what incline level people are setting for this game and any recommendations regarding the flippers. THANKS!

This game is proof that sound and callouts matter. Fun layout but I just don't get that amped when I play it.

Bought the game but I’m still waiting for it... I haven’t played pinball in many years, so I hope I can get some enjoyability out of it! As always, great review guys.

Ordered my premium yesterday. Thanks for the review. Hoping I don’t regret not getting Deadpool. Newbie pinball enthusiast. First machine. Which of the two would you prefer? Deadpool premium is sold out until next production which is maybe in the fall.

I really love Avengers. It just works for me but I can understand why people don't care for it. I was going to buy one until I got mesmerized by Godzilla and bought that instead

Great game and toys, overall. I agree with Greg very fun, but very frustrating and I don't care enough about the story / game play. After a couple of games I move to Jurrasic Park A+. Zach threw out an idea on pinball players styles and pins desirability to the player type. A rich psycho analytic narrative, you can play Jung and Freud in the Twilight Zone.

I give this video.... a B+!

Keep DP Pro and GZ Pro and avoid this one if you want the best of the three. If not, keep them all. I am picking up my AIQ this weekend. I already have the other two.

CGC is not remaking the Addams Family, probably ever. The licensing can/will never get ironed out because the estates of the folks involved are greedy people.

You have to learn the rules on this. Stack Thor mb with a mode. Collect then assign the stones. Great game imo.

Haha I have the premium and feel exactly like these guys! I am on the fence of selling and trading for deadpool and yesterday I had a good game and I was dammit!! But hate the code and how you need a degree in pinball coding to exploit the score

Game has no “soul”

Played it yesterday, Typical unimpressive new stern.

Watching this again, and having played Godzilla, I will say "moments" can get tiresome. Godzilla premium is amazing, but that multiball start loses it's charm after a handful of times.

When Greg says “gem” I’m hearing “gym”. I have no interest in this game.

Ugliest thing I've ever seen. A hot, holy mess. It's like someone knocked over a tree covered with nothing but colored tinsel and you're telling me to stare at it until I see explosions and lens flares and Transformers that look like water. Video monitors on Pinball is intrusive graffiti. That sure is a steaming pile of modern art you got there. The computer that made it with it's bare computer hands deserves a feather cookie and tar milkshake. Love the channel, guys.
