Scx24 LCG Budget “Low Center of Gravity” Build V1!

Ойын-сауық

#scx24 #proline #budgetbuild
Hey guys this is version 1 of this project build, its as stock as I thought I could get away with and so far its fun to drive and impressing me. Can't wait to see how it evolves and I hope you'll leave me some comments on more ideas for V2!

MOFO extended axles w/ patty weights. Custom boatsides for electronic mounting. Lizard Pro/Furitek Micro. Delete battery tray and stock ESC. Move battery to the front, and mount new receiver (I use a Flysky GT5) and ESC on boatsides down Low. Lead strips cut from lead sheet, added to wheel rings for cheap invisible added weight down low. Links, servo, steering links, double barrel shocks out back and your current shocks up front. Did all of the above, plus more, to my C10 and it's a completely different animal. Phenomenal control, will crawl so slow you can hardly see it moving, and torque for DAYS!

Great show, bro! I got pissed yesterday that my spectr still isn’t here after two weeks and went ahead and made the stock chassis lcg. Also made a smooth skid for nothing that actually works too good. Freakin slippery! Lol

@@UpperLeftRC I love my cheat code but I’m not sure it’s necessary. The sliders are the best part and I just fixed the stock skid with a piece of lexan and it’s better. It’s nice to have a shiny parts rig but I’m not positive it’s necessary to gain the performance. I’ll do some tweaking today and get some video of where we’re at. Not twerking because my kids hate it when I do that! Lol. Just me working on the car, no funny business. It’ll be good. Lol

That thing clamped to the motor cable is a ferrite core or bead. They are used to reduce interference in electronics. That motor must be making a bunch of noise and feeding it back into the electronics. If you remove it you might see weird issues with the electronics or no problems depending on your luck with the motor. If you replace the motor you can remove it as most aftermarket motors shouldn't be bad enough to cause an issue.

Can’t remember the name of the black thing. It is supposed to filter noise. I put some those on a FPV build to help eliminate noise in the video. If it were me I’d probably take it off, it will help with the cg

@@UpperLeftRC Thanks! How consistent are model scales? if I take the 1:1 wheelbase of a vehicle, should I expect the wheelbase of the model to be 1/20th? Or is the scale somewhat notional and its kinda down to luck and/or research? Do you recommend any brands?
