Sculptor Louise Nevelson
The 80-year-old artist - heralded for her sculptures throughout New York City - was honored with a rare solo show at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine. "Sunday Morning" anchor Charles Osgood talked with Nevelson, in a profile that was originally broadcast August 6, 1981.

What an awesome woman!
My grandmother trudy Stanford was her understudy. I love my grandma's art pure amazing.
remarkable lady with remarkable work
She was so incredibly influential. I always see her influence, in my city. Tucson. There are abundant tributes to her here. To me, I would call it emotional cubism. It’s resonant, mysterious, and has real feeling behind it.
She's so smart. I read a quote by her. It's not exact but she said she had been so lonely at times, she was glad to see a mouse.
So, how did it turn out? Did the people embrace the new statue on the library lawn?
Anyone from art survey??
I'm here for art class lol
