It'd be neat if the glass lamp had a web pattern on them. But holy god, that would be incredibly tedious.

Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man was a big part of my childhood so it was so cool to see you sculpt him. What I think would be really cool too would be Doc Ock! He’s my favorite of the Spidey villains

Toby is also my favorite spider man. He's the only one that seemed most like a man and not like a kid who thought their powers were cool. He walked so the others could swing.

Us, sitting down for a quick lunch break: me- "Adam has a new video" husband- "well, how long is it?" me- "...Adam-length" LOVE this build and I love all the Spider-Mans (Spider-Men?) but I really have no opinion about who is the "best" Spidey, since they are all better than the one from The Electric Company shorts I watched as a little kid. I'll save my outraged opinion for when (if) they make a Spider-Woman film, she's my favorite.

I can just imagine him watching/ listening to the Spider-Man movies as background noise as he works (like not really paying attention the entire time but having it there as background sound, that’s what I typically do when Im working on something)

“Those thirst thirsty searches” STOPPPPPP LMAOOO he just called us all out for being so down bad desperate 😂😂😂

I think part of why I like videos like these so much is because of the range of different materials you can use together - from sandpaper, garbage bags, and what is presumably actual dirt. Kinda like my book, using details from actual research, video games, American propaganda, and Naruto.

Oh to be a third hand in an art project. May we all aspire to be such. Random comment aside, this turned out fabulous. The attention to detail is what sells this for me, and I loved seeing life if a piece that many others would have considered 'done' once the main construction was complete. Also, how dare you make me consider a little garbage back as cute. I'll never get that street cred back ever again!

I can’t believe you made all the webbing on his suit in relief. I would never have had the patience (or skill) to do that. Bravo!

As a new yorker I love the details you made in that corner street light. perfection

i grew up with tobey, i loved his spiderman movies so much as a kid. andrew's didn't come out until later on and i don't think i saw them until a couple years after tobey's trilogy. love tom holland's spiderman tho, he plays peter like peter's just a kid who doesn't know what he's doing but loves his friends and family

for a man who repeatly calls himself lazy when sculpting he sure as hell picked the most "detailed" suit out of the 3 with the raised webbing and all

pro tip: you can dip the clay into boiling water to cure it in sections as you work, so you don't mess up parts you've finished and you don't need to use your oven. extra helpful for hair and face parts.

I hope more Marvel character sculptures are made. Imagine a statue of Ghost Rider on his flaming motorcycle, weilding his signature red hot chain whip.

This is such an awesome piece l. It had me saying "oh boy yeah" every time you added a detail, and I "oh boy yeah" -ed the hardest when you showed the spider-ass. I love tobeys spiderman, the reimi trilogy is the best. And FINALLY someone mentions bully maguire. Hes the king of all memes and no one can match his status. I was pretty sad that there were no bully maguire references in no way home but you cant have everything.

This was the first video I watched of him and I'm addicted to his sculpting now.

10:47 "So I'm single now" is an apt name for this part, I audibly squeaked with discomfort at the sight of it, they're just so expensive!!!

The way you assemble your webs is very similar to how an actual spider does it. The long straight webs aren't sticky and the spiralling ones are sticky.

Man I want to say how happy I am that you went with the original Spider-Man Toby. The second guy wasn't that bad, but I can't stand the new ones. I'm only 20 seconds in and lmao when you drew a heart around him. Hahahahah

I have an answer about the Trex arms, a definitive one, also these video are awesome because I'm just in love with these kinds of things, and I find yours particularly funny which is an entirely other level because it's already interesting to begin with. The Tyrannosaurus' arms were speculated to be used to assist in mating, its supported by the fact specimens of the same lineage have very similar arm structures despite being some 80 million years older, meaning if they really had no use, they would have been evolved off of the T rex by the time of the Cretaceous period. The ancestor of Tyrannosaurus did have longer arms but not significantly and shrunk because they had no other use than mating. (Daspletosaurus is the oldest Tyrannosaur)
