I WANTED to give a thumbs up but the number was 420 and that number should stay there despite that you should have 10,000 thumbs up , the 420 just looked so cool there.

I love biblical sculptures, it’s like looking a different reality trapped in a statue!

this is such a fun sculpt, I love all of the details that seem random to a modern audience but are chock full of symbolism! I think one thing people forget about these weird creatures is that they had to be easily understandable for people who couldn’t read, hence their weird af features 😂

Absolutely, Their visual symbolism was at least as complicated as ours, if not more so!

The butt face is also because of Osculum Infame, it was thought that devil worshippers would pay homage to him by kissing his backside when they summoned him. I guess it makes it less graphic if he has a face to kiss on that part instead of… you know.

I'm not even religious but god is this awesome

love your narration and the research you did into this piece. i thought the turd was the guy's balls actually and they were referencing how he had the balls to lie so blatantly to jesus' face. but talking out of his ass is also super funny. thank you for the video

Even though you've only posted 3 videos, you're already at the top of my "favorite sculptors" list. Your videos are well-constructed, and I love how you explain the historical background and context of the things you create instead of just saying "yeah here's this funky devil guy with boobs" and giving no further elaboration. Keep up the amazing work! An addendum, I also appreciate that you're not dead set on trying to appeal to KZread and make your creations SFW in order to get monetized. Not enough artists these days are willing to work so intimately and boldly with the grotesque.

I wasn’t expecting some of my favorite content creators this year to lean so heavily into biblical themes but between you, hochelaga, and wendigoon I’ve been proven wrong. In all seriousness your work has inspired me so much in my own clay pursuits. The elation I felt when I saw this video uploaded was truly unmatched by any other content creator, and to see you be able to make even more of these ghastly creations would fill 2024 with so much joy.

The last year I've been getting into the drawings of medieval monsters and their peculiarities. I've been making my own versions of demons with multiple faces and such. This channel is right up my alley and I can't wait to see what comes next

Appreciate you not deprecating this weird little dude for having boobs. Also what a great job you did on this! Texture, pose and expression really give it a character.

When my friend asked me to draw her a picture of the Devil in shower shoes for a presentation, I wound up drawing a man in what amounted to a crappy devil kigurumi with a dorm shower caddy. Kiiinda wishing I’d gone this route, though. Would’ve been wilder.

Absolutely awesome, i love it!!! I hear you on the glue, i superglued myself to the bottle last time. My son was in disbelief and was howling with laughter saying omg mum, I didn't think people did that in real life. I want to go play with my cosclay now. I'm making him a wolf for his 21st but I'm so so slow at it and constantly fiddle for perfection then often have to remake bits as i went too far. Wish i had your level of perfection

This is so brilliantly done, yet totally atrocious looking sculpture. You’ve nailed it. I find peculiar sculptures to be the most interesting, because they often have rather unexpected details. It is very easy to see beauty in something that it conventionally attractive, but weird sculptures let me admire the craftsmanship and also the amount of research needed to bring all this into the light.
