Scubapro 1st stage with broken hose end

The HP hose broke off and left behind the thread side in the body of first stage. After others failed to remove all that was left was a soft brass nub. I had to drill out and extract the remaining nub.

Interesting, you must see all kinds of weird stuff. You are a skilled tech so it's good to see how you do these repairs. Although, I do not know the policies, economics and logistics of becoming an authorized Scubapro service center, it would be great if you were. I have an old D400 second stage that has become difficult to find experienced service for. Thanks for the videos, I look forward to them.

We have 3 Scubapro dealers within 20 miles in the Keys so that’s all they will accept. They protect sales territory which is understandable. Thanks for watching!

Cool video. I want to know who dropped this off of a mountain or chucked it from a speeding car to cause this cable to break/snap at that location. I have never seen that, but I have only been diving a short while...since 1983....

I’ve seen this type of break before but never had to use an easy out extractor to remove the thread end. Glad you like it, thanks for watching.
