Scuba Socorro Islands November 2021

Scuba Socorro Islands is an account of some first time Liveaboard adventurers. Swimming among schools of Hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, Silky sharks, Silver Tip sharks, White Tip sharks and even a Whale Shark. The ballet of the Giant Pacific Manta Rays was constant entertainment on each dive. The Nautilus Explorer was the name of our ship, and the entire crew made our trip a truly "Once In A Lifetime" experience!

Socorro for us was a really big trip as we normally go to the Caribbean. The Sharks, Mantas and Porpoise and the scale of the trip was quite different and exciting If you are like us, you will be thrilled by the experience. thanks for you nice comment on the video, I appreciate it! Hi Dan, we used a 5 mil with no hood and I believe the temps were 78 - 80 degrees. I was surprised that the water temp was not even noticed. I think that it gets cooler the later in November / December and into the winter months. We must have hit it just right!

@@skibarron Make sense. I've heard that November is actually one of the warmest months to dive - that's why I'm thinking of that to.e of year. How did you like the Explorer?

@@danflaherty1132 I was told by Blue Water Travel and Photo, that it was the best Liveaboard he had ever been on. It was our first, but I must say, they treated us all like royalty. The staff was helpful and the ship was awesome. The food was really good and we enjoyed every minute of it. We went with some friends and we would all recommend Nautilus Explorer. We also made friends onboard with others, one gentleman was on his 46th liveaboard and he thought Explorer was great. Thanks for your question. Jack
