When I swam there I found it was like 165 deep in the middle and I was in the middle on a kayak

hi i am planning on visiting Montana this summer and would love to make a dive like that is july the best time to visit. Thanks

The water temp is fairly nice in late July. The air temp is usually at its highest in July which makes it nice when you get out of the cold water. During the summer you can dive with a thick wetsuit, but if you have a drysuit then it is recommended you use it.
