SCUBA DIVE Two SECRET Cenote Caves Yucatan MEXICO Cavern Diving
We're going in there?! Famous last words! After testing out my wetsuit in the pool, I am ready to go on a real dive! Scuba diving Cavern diving in the Yucatan Mexico is abundant. There are more than 2,000 cenotes (filled caves) in the Yucatan Peninsula.
In this video you will see two separate locations. The first cenote is a 30 foot drop down to the water using a very steep stair case. It is so beautiful to look at. The water was a bit murky due to a recent rainfall.
The second cenote was located at an old Hacienda. Which you will see the ruins of a chapel there. AMAZING!
The water there is crystal clear and the diving was intense. There were many broken pottery bowls, or cups I noticed on the floor of the cenote. This is one of the BEST cenotes I have ever dove in Mexico.
We intend to go back to this location and explore more!
