I gotta question, eh! Is there some reason beyond my understanding that there is literally zero presence of John Candy's Big City Comedy anywhere on KZread? The show is a far cry from SCTV at its best, but it's not a massive stinker by any means. It can't be that rare, either -- I have the 3-VHS tape set myself. Come to think of it, I recently learned that only about 1/3 of the Camp Candy episodes have made it online in any form. Who's taking Candy from us, baby? SCTV Podcast? Pod people vs the SCTV cast? It's HANK BAIN, ISN'T IT?!? ZONTAR MUST BE STOPPED!!!!!

I love when Bittman is explaining to Cavett why he directed: "Funny Stuff" (07:44) and Cavett says "Oh Please Tell Us"--Bittman barely caught on he was being condescending!!! LOL

11:29 Bobby Bitman - Quintessential narcissist 🤣looking at the camera while being complimented in a serious dramatic scene. The comedy nuance and the long-running character development you don't get from any other sketch comedy series EVER!! BRILLIANT!!

I remember really loving this back in the day.

The best!

The Smog Monster of Quentos Village Pennsylvania was right up there with The Blood Sucking Monkeys from West Mifflin Pennsylvania. Joe Flaherty is the best.

The premise was that he's Floyd Robertson from the news doing an extra gig for SCTV to make a few extra bucks as Count Floyd. He doesn't know anything about vampires and just assumed they howled. He's always trying to sell his overpriced 3-D glasses, although the price has never been the same twice.

That chicken just wasnt having it lol!! Marcellos kitchen was the best!!!
