I love it as a french admirer.I love the morals of Scrooge.This banker was so stingy and mean ,he gave allowances for money and punished those who couldn't pay him back..he lost many clients and had no friends..Very good special effects for its time! Sir Seymour Hicks is a wonderful Scrooge! Despite the age of this version, it's truly moving. Thank you for posting this. I was watching another video of the same version, but it got stuck and wouldn't play further. I've never seen this version before and I'm so glad to have seen it.

Thanks for posting! I like this one I don't remember seeing this one on tv when I was a kid . I Do hear the recorder in the background in the beginning...it reminds me of music class in the 80's when we used to play Christmas songs on them. Back when we could do things like that ....so sad that is no longer true...it rarely feels like Christmas anymore in my town. We used to be the Christmas city.

I've played this in an amateur theater. I was Bob Cratchitt.

There is a 1928 sound version that is considered lost. Wouldn't it be something if it were to turn up some place?! As for this version, 1935, it is the ONLY one, animated or not, where we see what happened to Belle after she dumps Scrooge, something mentioned in the original Dickens novel.

Can you put up a lot newer movies. From the 80s and 90s. And maybe some TV shows Andy Griffith. I don’t know if you’re afraid of the copyright ball but. You need to put a video up of the copyright ball with your zone all new describe videos which says that you can. Place them wherever you want. What no copyright infringement oh so you could just do the audio track
