Scroll Sawing the Dumbest Person in Your Family

Who doesn’t love Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation? I made a scroll saw art project that captures the legendary scene of him emptying his RV septic tank in the storm drain. I drew the picture based on a screen shot of the movie and then made it using my scroll saw.
I did not use any stains, paints, or dyes for this. All of the colors are natural wood colors.

Love the movie and the subject for your picture is really funny. My favorite part of your scroll saw art is that you use natural wood color, and you don't stain or paint. In my opinion stain and paint have their place, but I like natural the best. Stay awesome.

Great project, do you find the packing tape over the top makes you go through blades quicker?

No, not at all. I used two blades total for this one.
This makes my heart so happy! Loved this movie, takes me waaay back! I have siblings who’d die for one of these lol. Imagine if you’d done his robe in plaid?! Absolutely a perfect pick for this Xmas, thanks so much
