Dear Dr. nari, need your opinion my wife has done anomalies scan 2D on 19wk 2 days and repeated anomaly scan 3D on 19wk 3 days. Both results shows right side cpc measuring 5.1x4.6 mm and isolated unilateral right side cpc 4 mm respectively. During 11 to 13 weeks she had done dual marker which results in negative and based on cpc our doctor suggested to do quadruple test, and it results shown as negative. Our doctor suggested not to worry as result is normal and cpc will go away within 24 to 26th weeks, in another 1 month time. However we still feel that fear factor for abnormalities. So doctor suggest 2 options either have NIPT test which give results after 2 weeks and Amniocentesis which is invasive method and results provided in 2-3 days time. Kindly suggest your opinion. In our family history no down syndrome child ever born. I have daughter age 7 years with everything fine and studying in school. Your earliest reply will help us to take decision
