@j He was at the height of a severe heroin addiction while on tour in Europe. The 2 days leading up to this show he had run out of dope and was going through withdrawal. The night of this show he claims to have been robbed twice (well, sold fake heroin once and robbed a second time)

One of the best fn bands ever. Been listening so so long since I was about 14. I'm old now. Passed it on to my daughters though. Both of them love this tune and the band. Screaming Trees is one of our family bands.

Did you know him personally? I used to love the Screaming Trees did you know I saw them live when I was in the seventh grade at an outdoor concert in my hometown with Cracker and Matthew Sweet? It's one of the best memories in my life..The Screaming Trees played first and they were so awesome I didn't even bother to stick around for the other two bands plus it was super hot.. even at age 12 I thought cracker and Matthew Sweet we're lame isn't that awesome?? You want to know what the best part about that concert was though Julia? It's the only memory in my entire life getting stoned as shit before a concert and having zero concern whatsoever about what anybody else thought about me simply because I was too young to know that it mattered.. and now for the first time in my life I'm old enough to know that it never mattered.. whoever you kick it with is lucky I wish I could meet a hot girl that likes good music.. sorry to bother you have a wonderful evening

He did go too far about Gary Lee Conner in his book. Absolutely destroyed him you’d think he was one of the worst people to ever walk the planet the way Mark described him. Went looking for some interviews with Gary on here, from what i saw he come across a really decent guy, not saying I know his personality from a few interviews but he certainly isn’t the man Mark portrayed.
