Scratching with Audio Cassettes - Prototype Device

Музыка

This is a video of the early stages of my portable cassette scratch player.
The device is in the very early stages and is a proof of concept. I will post more videos when I have developed it further.
Please leave any suggestions in the comments bar.

@PlasticParty: their is a risk for the machine to eat the tape if you do scratching with it. I remember when I was a kid, I was curious about how it work mechanically, since the cover of the cassette player broke off I had the opportunity to see how it work and I did not care about the casette tape that I used for testing because does song where annoying for an older kid, they where song for toddlers and I did not have brother, and neither sisters, while it his playing if you try to slow down the take out spool, the tape does not get eaten but it slow down the music, but if you slow down the take-in spool while it his playing, it will eat the tape because of the pinch roller and captsan, but as soon as you let go of the take in spool, it undo eating the tape, and the music sound wonkey when it undo eating the tape. I had another boom box with the cover still on it. so I was not worry to broke that one.

+PhysioA Im actually working on a new project related to tape scratching. Im designing and building a new unit from the ground up. I will make the 'scratching travel' longer so you can play longer samples.
