Imagine how much better scrapping would be if everything was still like that blender. However, I guess people wouldn't need new ones very often.

Took me two hours to get through all my electrical outlets and switches, but I was definitely taking my time. Yielded a couple pounds of clean brass at $1.80/lb

You could use that light rope under your table, or even Xmas lights too. They go bad you can just replace them easy 😉 (light up bins and floor work area)

I see you have a problem with your orange Home Depot buckets becoming brittle. They should put a warning on them "Not Safe for Use Outdoors" or "Sunlight degrades plastic" or "Not safe for use with Caustic solutions as plastic may shatter"

We have been watching all the processing videos. It would be better if you show once in a while all the accumulated non ferrous stuff neatly stuffed in barrels or buckets. We can feel the quantum of efforts you put in the last one month. I would say you stuff your coppers (#1, #2 etc) and brass in 50 pound buckets (for ease of handling) and store the buckets on top floor room as there is some more time before you will sell them.

The wire clamps on the metal electrical box that secure the wire are called halex connectors. Made of zinc or cast aluminum.

I was suggesting the same to him in my comments. The nuts and bolts go as HMS which is added value.

When in doubt, hit it with a hammer or a hatchet you'll get it apart. That's what I've been doing lately. I bought a hatch and a Canadian Tire just like the one you got and it works good for cutting all kinds of stuff. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦🪓🔨🧲
