@@nuclearfish010 yeah it would be...? There's tons of reflective surfaces and light sources. It would be crazy to see.
Nice review mate!
I wish this game had been remastered on console. Who knows, maybe 1 day will even get a sequel to this game
Wonder if I can find my old CD copy of this game for PC. I bought it for $2 because the store was clearing out inventory due to the game basically being unplayable due to bugs in an age before online patches. I'm curious if it was better on console. My memories included fun on-foot sections followed by flying sections where the enemies could kill you in a single hit, had tons of lives to respawn, required tons of hits to kill, and would bee line to health packs in hidden areas if they dropped below 75% health. Basically, if you see the enemy speed up and fly in a straight line, you just have to hit them about 25 more times in the next 5 seconds before they were full health again. Even hacking the game to give you god like power couldn't compare to the enemy AI
thank you for this video, I completely forgot about this gem.
Gameplay is tough love, the story is not so great, but the audiovisual design is 11/10 imo. As You said You can tell they put so much work into it! My favourite detail is the fact that every single robot has a very different set of sounds it emits! Like couriers having different chirps depending on which direction they start moving in. It really makes me want to go back to it and get to know it better. But then I have to rememeber the stupid quests lol
need a Dr muto remaster
Loved Scrap land!!!
Mandalore uploaded a video at the same time. Are you sure you are not his alt account?

I may be the only one, but Ive always thought the bankers models are based off the vampires from diablo 2. Creepy, floating, red-skulled, soul/money draining monsters.
no one talks about this game and im pretty sure its abandonware now
Hm...to my perception, those voice lines are really bad. IMO, one of the dividing lines between bad voice acting and good one, is how well you can notice that someone is forcefully changing their tone (e.g. to a lower or higher pitched voice). In the examples presented here, it's very obvious and immediately breaks any potential immersion. To me, it just sounds like people who are desperately trying to make their real voices less recognizable, like a child awkwardly trying to sound like one of their parents, while talking to a teacher on the phone. It's just cringe.
