In this video, I'll be showing you how to make a noodle board (aka stovetop cover) using some scrap poplar I had left over from other projects. It's all part of my monthly DIY challenge, in which this month's theme was scrap wood.

A great little project. We can always use more counter space and this is a quick build to boot. Thanks -
I love this video. You demonstration and instructions were excellent. I, also, did not know what a noodle board was until I saw this video. Thank you for making this video.

Have you had any issue with wood movement having the side boards nailed cross grain like that?
Hi, Love the project. Just wanted to ask where did you get your long blue clamps from?

Katie Cleveland thank you
Learned something new!! Where can i find out about your challenges?? Can anyone join? Tmika
Pretty sure there will be problems down the road. The base will expand and contract. The side rail grain direction is 90 degrees to base. You can't do that. Just like people that glue bread board ends on table top.

It’s still just as good as the day I finished it. 🤷🏼♀️
I have done very similar with Woodglut designs.
I think you can make it yourself, just loook and learn from woodprix .
Woodglut has very good designs and plans.
