​@@SpireGuy You haven't even seen the trailer with careful eyes. First, crafting scheme have to be simple and not complicated. Second, equipment and storage: how you use the items which you are about to craft. Third, weapons and melee. This is critical to gaining the viewer's eye. And graphics and design. You have to be very cautious about the character's looks and aware of the surrounding backgrounds. Overall, I'd give a 4 star. But 1 star is crappy, because the crafting scheme does not appeal to the gamers which is more likened to Banjo and Kazooie car race thingy and unfortunately was cancelled but revived by Super Smash Bros in 2019. This is criticism to the fullest pessimism I can give you. Happy?

The collectable resources are grindy and poorly made. Like getting beeswax.. Rly.. I need to destroy a nest to get material to make Wheels? Bees inside of this nest doesn't even care that i just destroyed their home. Also physics is very poor. Your creations are just wobbling around. You can't even cook WOC meat.

What about building bases , vehicles, going through warehouses, defending against raids, soon there's gonna be the trash bot and the underground caves and even more bots and places to explore, and draggable wedges which I could wait as long as needed without having normal wedges as long as we get these, scrapman has made two entire series in survival mode, so have kan and kosmo, they are having a blast and yet you don't, it's almost as if they are creative and you aren't

I dont think I know a single person I could show scrap mechanic that would say "looks fun". Once this update drops, I can off the top of my head think of 12. Definitely a very good thing for the game and the devs. I infact, bought Scrap Mechanic to support the idea of one day getting survival. Glad I did.

For this game not even halfway to 1.0 yet this is really good

I have watched the trailer about 10 times now and each time gets better and better. For a 12 person team you are all amazing.

I too am a kinda of boomer in this game😂... ive been playing since 4 month after release and watched all sorts of youtubers since then: kan gaming, scrapman,moonbo, comodo, durf, kosmo etc. It has been a loooong time waiting but as you sayd... It is worth every single second of waiting! This is going to change everything and the community is going to grow sooo much now i predict... and that also means that guys like you and me are going to be seen as the best out there cause we have been playing for soo long and know most of the game and can build about everything so its kinda like a prestige status😂... Best game ever now i would totally vote this best game 2020-2022 if there are more Performance updates

I just found this game and I'm in love. I kinda wish I had to worry about other scrapers instead of just the robots. Think about it a new and fresh gaming mode where you and your friends build and survive but there is other scrapers that can throw a monkey wrench in your daily tasks

I've been playing since 2016 way before survival and trust me that sense of excitement is gonna disappear faster than the Devs did. waited nearly 4 years for survival to release and considering it's been almost 4 years since then and devs aren't communicating with the community at all in months (not even a "don't worry guys the game will update" message since December) my hopes aren't high

I hope so edit: actually definitely. Blocks obviously have some sort of functionality for keeping water out, because otherwise you couldn't have any part of a boat below sea level without it flooding.

I am so unbelievably proud of you guys. Been following the development since the beginning, and it's absolutely mind-blowing what you've been able to accomplish in the last 5 years, including making your own engine. There are still kinks to be ironed out and things to be balanced, but we actually have a game now! And a good one at that. Amazing job!

they where working out some of the bugs so that we would have the best playing experience possible

I've had this game for years. Never tough it would amount to more then a sandbox builder.

When chapter 2? Its been 4 years already. Man I think that chapter 2 is a myth and they want to make the game more popular

I've know about this game for awhile now and I decided to check out the trailer and honestly I have never seen a better trailer than this one. if I wasn't already gonna get the game as soon as I can then this would have guaranteed it.

i got this re recommended to me 2 years later, such cool it is

I can't wait to explore ocean, this update is incredible

where is Scrap Mechanic? This looks like a new Game :D Good Work Axolotgames i cant wait to see that all i wait for many years but finally the wating has an end :D

For a game that (well, until now) is generally based around building and engineering, that music was really epic, and I couldn't have loved it more.

moon moon I did not notice that but that’s funnier than hell.

I got this game in 2016 in a bundle and didn't even realize it was a good game until years later before even survival. TLD best game axolotl has made but they don't advertise it or keep the community up to date or even update their game. Sadly most the content now is made by modders, reminds me of Warcraft III days when you'd mostly play mod games. It's a great game to experiment with concepts like kinematics and Archimedes law of buoyancy which works well with the suspension mechanics

Still cant wait to see what the next trailer is gonna look like
